Compared to other sneaker stores I've patroned the prices are what you would expect for resale. Where LC stands out is the customer service. As a female, it's important to me that I feel safe and unpressured when I'm shopping - and that I'm not manslpained to or tried to take advantage of because of it. Sneaker stores are usually run to accommodate a specific demographic, so I don't always feel welcomed as an older female. That is not the case here as I'm always greeted by a friendly face and left to peruse without pressure to purchase. Carter was so helpful and patient and brought me a ton of options, listened to me and how each option felt, and was thoughtful about sharing price points and making sure I found exactly what I was looking for. The pricing was on par with any retailer for that shoes which is great for a speciality shoe store and the fact that they took such care to make sure I got the right one. Two simple tests, some time trying things out, and I'm thrilled with my new shoes plus an insole too which wasn't pushed but super helpful! My knees were a little achy in the beginning because of the realignment but I'm happy to report that not only have I not thrown my knee out in the last year of wearing them but I'm also able to walk soooooo much more with minimal discomfort.
