This store has the shittiest selection from any uniglo I've been to (besides like the pop up shops). The ppl who work here are miserable too. You apparently can't return SHIT unless it's in the EXACT packaging with all the tags still attached and no sign of even a human touching the item. I'm happy this has opened in Atlantic Terminal, but I think it's best for basic things. The cashier was friendly, the store was neat, but the layout was weird. Racks upon racks all on one level. It's not like shopping at the Manhattan branches. To be honest I never felt like I was shopping at a Uniqlo store. It looks like they just put racks and racks of Uniqlo merchandise out on a floor; and mass quantities of each of these basic items on the racks. Selection seemed limited in favor of quantity. It's really bright in there. If you need a jacket for winter or basic things it's good. Update- when you buy an item and it goes on "Promotion" five days later, they will tell you the promotion is for ONLINE purchase only - meaning you will NOT get the price difference. So I bought an item at $29.90, five days later it was $19.90 and they didn't give me squat. They're lucky I couldn't find the item on their sales floor. Beware. read more

I just returned home from the Uniqlo FLATBUSH location with an arm full of goodies. The manager, Bilagi helped me from the moment I first inquired about a nice warm front zip hoodie. I then told her about a dress I'd enjoy wearing this summer. She took me to the reduced rack where I pitched the same dress in another color. Upon my mentioning how I hate to wear a bra she turned me into a nice tank with adjustable straps and a built in bra. I actually may like this item as well although I have a history of not enjoying bras. This fabric is beyond comfortable & I didn't feel bound as in must bras. Come on Uniqlo! I've shopped at the other stores in NYC for a couple years and have had mostly good experiences, but the one in Atlantic Terminal was really a significant step down. I have always worn a medium shirt from Uniqlo, but when I bought two shirts from this store I was swimming in one and could barely button the other. I returned them and got a smaller size for the one that was too big, and there was a 2 in. rip in it. I saw a good deal on some colored jeans for $19.90. There was a big sign next to the display of 12 different colored jeans. I bought two pairs. Surprise! wrong color. Those are $49.90. Even the people who work there didn't get it and couldn't explain why $50 pants were directly under a sign saying that pants of the same description were $20. Went back for a different color of the $19.90 pants. They only have one length in the rest of the colors, 34. But don't worry! We'll tailor them for free! (as long as they're over $20. Oh.) It's ironic that the slogan is "Made for All" considering I've never seen a store that actually has a surcharge for pants that are 32-32. Or 31-33. Or any size that is not a 34 length. I've been a customer for a while, but they seem to be taking a much cheaper approach now- inconsistent sizing, poor quality control, confusing and manipulative signage, and obnoxious pricing gimmicks. This store is very organized. It used to be Daffy's. Well, Uniqlo has been here for a couple of months. I went here two weeks ago with my sister. The place was very nice. It was hot inside. They're not as expensive as compared to Urban Outfitters though. Everything is affordable. The lines on the register weren't that long, so the waiting period isn't that long. read more

I am ordered online and pay with Paypal. Then I get delivered and don't like them. So I bring them to this store and return, they said because I pay by PayPal so they just can refund money to gift card, ok fine, that's happened on Oct 14, 2019. Then a week ago I went to Uniqlo in SoHo to spend the gift card but they said it's no money inside (wtf), they asked me for the receipt when I am return. But anybody will keep the receipt when they did the return and thinking got money on the gift card already, of course not me. I am back to this store and telling them about my problem today, and they asked me for the receipt again and I explained her, she told maybe I spent all money on the gift card and now go back to claim them again (wtf). I am mother of 2 kids : 3 years and 11 months, I even don't have time go during the week, have to wait for Sunday my husband bring me go and take care of the kids on the car waiting for me. She think everyone doing shit like her to get 99,8$. Then she saying she can't help me without receipt. Until another guy come I trying to help me. Major issues with inventory! and customer service!! I found the item (a fleece jacket) in an XL, but I wanted to try a Large. The folks at the register said they had 9 of the Large jackets in a box in the back -- but they could not find them! I decided to buy the XL so at least I had something. That day when I got home, I called customer service and the rep, Jeff, called the store and they claimed they had it and I should come back the next day to exchange it if need be. I did and this time, they claimed they were OUT OF STOCK of the Large! I took off work, spent more money on train fare for this? So just NOW I called customer service again and spoke with a rep who took my info down but really did not seem to care much about loosing my business. I don't blame her but the management policy towards customers. I have dealt with many businesses in the past who really try to make you happy so they don't loose a customer. I the the Uniqlo brand just does not care that much....and are VERY disorganized! read more

I don't typically review retail, especially not chains, but I have to say that this Uniqlo was disappointing. The selection was so limited. My boyfriend and I were between going shopping in SoHo this last Sunday or just staying local in Brooklyn. Uniqlo was his priority so we went here. They have the basics - I bought some socks - but otherwise, the women's selection was way too small. So, go for the basics, but if you want something specific or really want to browse, I would recommend heading to Manhattan. read more

I love Uniqlo...but giving me a pick-up date for alterations and then not having the alterations done by that date is lame. What's even more unacceptable is they had my phone number and easily could have let me known not to bother to come in. The guy standing on line before me was also there to pick up his stuff and it was his SECOND time showing up. His was being altered as he waited. Each time I walk in here, pick something up, try it on, wait in a ridiculously long line to pay, reach the register, and find out the price has been labeled incorrectly. Never hem your pants here- waited over an hour and half for pick up and there was a hole in the bottom of one pair! Love uniqlo but do not frequent this location! more details: I had a VERY frustrating experience at the Atlantic terminal store yesterday. I left two pairs of pants to be hemmed and was told I could pick them up after 6pm the following day. I made a specific trip back to the store (not really on my way) and was told they weren't ready yet but would be ready in 20minutes if I waited. It took almost an hour and half! After waiting 30min they told me they were almost ready and on the machine- far cry from the truth as I was yet to wait almost another hour for the pants. About 45 min later they asked me to try on one pair of pants a second time to re-mark. Not sure why they had said the pants were almost ready if they weren't even marked up!! Since I had handed them my receipt to receive the pants and no one could find it, I was unable to leave and come back. After the inexcusably long wait I finally got my pants and there was a hole in one of them. Looked like they had cut them too short and tried to fix it by hemming them anyways leaving a hole in the bottom of the pants. The cashier reimbursed me for the pants with a hole in them (though I haven't seen that on my card yet). But given that I lost 1hr and half of my time and only ended up with half the merchandize I had purchased I thought it warranted an official complaint. After an hour and half waiting for pants that I ended not being able to take- I would have excepted to at least be given a replacement pair! I have been a very loyal customer, but I will certainly never frequent that branch again!! read more

I find the staff super friendly. I've only shopped for tights, HeatTech and clothing for my son, but have mostly found what I needed. It seemed a year ago they carried baby clothing (i.e. 9-12 mos) and now they only carry children's clothing, which is a bummer, but friendly staff and line moves quickly. read more

I discovered Uniqlo 4 years ago, and since then I am stopping here once in a while for some shopping. The customers service that Uniqlo developed is one that I wish many other stores would copy. I can say that each staff member is doing their best to serve you in the most polite way. And this is something that I highly appreciate. I have only been to one uniqlo before this one and I kind of digged the style but having them all in the city was a dragged so just imagine my excitement when I heard they were coming to Brooklyn. To say the least I was extremely disappointed. The sales floor was a HOT MESS, there are hardly any associates to help you (I went this past Saturday around 5 or 6ish), and the store is understocked, bright and confusing. I am not sure if I am ever coming back. The only saving grace was the customer service I received from this one associate Devon (probably spelt that wrong) after scouring the floor I found her and she was helping like 10 people at the same time I felt really sorry for her but she smiled through it and answered all my questions to the point where I actually went to the city the next day to pick up items your store did not have (at her suggestion). What store can't look up a purchase made from the store on the credit card used to buy it? UNIQLO If you don't have the original receipt you do not get store credit for the price you paid or the current sales price. You can only exchange it for the same item different size. So do not give as a gift unless you are 100% sure it won't be returned. THE MOST TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD. Any other store in literally the WORLD can credit back your card. Not UNIQLO. Terrible customers service. Asked 3 people to find a color and size and all said there were none without even looking. Finally get up to register after waiting forever and only one was cash only causing us to wait longer. Then finally ask someone to check the back for color and size and the man walked away twice without giving us any information, find him across the store talking to another worker and folding clothes in the middle of what should have been finding a size in the back of the store and helping us at the register. If you're men's medium, don't even bother with this place. Constantly out of mediums in a lot of their stock- no surprise because the store is tiny (for a uniqlo) . If you're already in the mall, it's worth checking out- but if you want to specifically go to uniqlo to do some shopping, just go to one of the Manhattan locations. read more
