They cleaned up the tree sap and bugs that are left on my car for three months!!! And at a much lower price and better service than other places. I left some scratches on my car due to improperly cleaning by myself and they make those disappear, saving me a lot of money repainting the car. They also wash the inside without any additional cost. DONT DO IT !!!! a friend of mine recommended that I use this place(TIM) for window tinting a vehicle that I use for work instead of driving all the way to Saint Charles for tinting so I did and what a mistake ! I left my car all day only to pick it up with terrible cloth cotton that had gotten stuck in the emblems and anywhere that can snag. My car was also cleaned with a rag that wasn't so clean because there were streaks on my interior. Additionally, I think that the stickers on your window keep you in compliance with the law so its shameful a professional wouldn't avoid that area when washing windows. I asked them not to put the sun strip on and they ignored my request. Lets get to the tint: After a weeks time I noticed that there were still LOTS of bubbles and noticeable debris that I didn't notice with ANY of my other vehicles so I called to ask someone to look at it. I was told by Tim "it takes two weeks this is normal" so I waited a month and the bubbles were there along with debris, and peeling of the tint. So I went and got it redone, This time my defrost grids seem to be damaged, there is a scratch on the front window, and adhesive on my car door that is a bitch to remove without removing paint oh and they washed the car again after telling them not to so there I was again re-wiping dirt streaks from my interior and removing rag particles from my emblems (they also left wonderful adhesive for me to remove) I called the business and Tim was not only rude and defensive he tried to convince me that there is something wrong with my windows and asked me if MY CAR was a demo car (whats that even mean) as if that has anything to do with quality tint (WTF). I really don't have time for this... Save yourself time, peace of mind, and money. Please go to a QUALITY shop for tint. read more

No problem, everything was smooth and as expected. I was quoted $30 to clean up the engine of my car and given and approximate time to come. I was there 15mn late, but they took the car immediately and 30mn later I was out. Job very well done, they even aligned the engine carter made of plastic plastic to look nice, and put some chemical to keep a shiny finish. and finally they gave me a key holder in the form of a mini light with their phone number! Honestly, is there anything I cannot say good about Unique Auto Spa? I called on black Friday and was able to get three inside/outside details for $260. They are normally $125 a piece. I dropped the car off before they opened and was able to pick it up at 5 p.m. This is a car that has two kids under four years old abusing it often. They have a perk for a free hand wash within 30 days of a detail. The price and service was better than I would find in Chicago, so I am happy to have been able to purchase the three pack. read more

I received the worst window tinting experience ever. A good friend had referred me to this location stating they were the best. That had to be an absolute lie!! So please don't take your vehicle there to ever be tinted and let me explain why. I requested 15% tint on my front driver & passenger windows and 30% on the windshield with a thick tint strip across the complete top. So after a week or so the air bubbles didn't go away on the driver window and there was also a hair or piece of fiber stuck in between the glass & tint. I called to notify the owner and they said ok, bring it back to correct it. However they pushed an appointment time out 2 weeks to get me back in for corrections. But by then I also noticed the front windshield also had air bubbles still and the passenger window tint was lifting in the corner when you let the window down. So it was all a complete bad tint job from the start. And let me mention that you also have to prepay in advance to even book an appointment. Ok so now, 2nd attempt to re-tint. However 2nd go round the tint on the driver side window was cut to short. And hair or a piece of fiber was stuck in between the glass and tint of the windshield. The customer service was so unpleasant from the receptionist named Shay that also claimed she was part owner. When I asked for a refund and to take the tint off they refused. When asked to speak to the owner Tim, the lady refused & continued to over talk me. Then the receptionist refused to schedule me a 3rd appointment & wanted me to drive all the way across town just to see their mistakes 1st. What an inconvenience they wanted to cause? A good tint job doesn't require 3 attempts to get right. Do yourself a favor and save your time & money by going somewhere else that respects and appreciates your business. I'm sorry but this is why it's so hard to support black owned businesses due to the lack of customer service and handling unsatisfied customers. read more

Just picked up my 2017 Subaru Outback from being detailed and it's like a brand new car inside and out. The rims were filthy and I have two dogs whose hair carpeted the cargo area. I really do like this place the owner is so kind and still does his own washes which is a plus ,the staff seem to also be nice, I am a mother who has a very messy toddler my car was SO nasty inside and out ,my rims had been scratched very badly from going to blue iguana carwash the other week, and had a bit of paint loss from my coming too close to the wall in my garage I don't know how he did it but those awful scratches aren't so bad on my rims now nor and it seems like he lightly buffed the back end as well. A hidden gem. The storefront looks like nothing, both my mom and I have used them multiple times for detailing services. I was pretty happy with the service. My only complaint is that it took a little longer than they estimated so I ended up waiting a couple extra hours at the community center across the street. They were able to get rid the water stains but not those stubborn chocolate stains :/ the lemon scent lingered a bit in the car and I was worried about that,but now after a couple weeks it doesn't bother me anymore. After reading the numerous rave reviews about Unique Auto Spa, I decided to give it a try. I paid in advance and left the car for 6+ hours. At the end of the day, the exterior of the car looked terrific, but when I got home, I noticed NEW black streaks on the interior doors, and some of the dirty upholstery appeared not to have been touched. Furthermore, the inside of the car was damp, if not wet, when we picked it up; after several days, the inside began to smell of mildew. (Now, everyone who gets in the car asks, "What is that smell?!") I have since tried shampooing the carpet with a rental machine (Rug Doc); it has helped but not completely. Lastly, one or two of my car mats were missing, as was the rubber wiper from the back windshield wiper. Unique Auto Spa offers reasonable prices. While I'd really like to give this business a great review, I can't. Perhaps they were having a bad day when they serviced my car. All in all, Unique was a big disappointment. read more
