I recently purchased a car from Unique Cars and Finance, and it was the worst experience possible. The Directors of this company are liars, unethical, unprofessional and should be prosecuted for fraud (personal opinion). Not only did Unique Cars and Finance knowingly sell me a car with more defects than they admitted to prior to sale, when I complained, Unique Cars and Finance said that it's the buyer's responsibility to ask questions and check the car thoroughly for defects and any missing items. Unique Cars and Finance effectively acknowledged that they knew about issues, but denied any accountabilty or responsibility for them. In addition, Unique Cars and Finance booked transport of the car with a 3rd-party transport company that (without my knowledge) turned out to have a $250 penalty fee if the transport was cancelled (even though in my case, I cancelled 48 hours prior to the car even being due for pickup). I was charged $850 up-front by Unique Cars and Finance for the transport, and Unique Cars and Finance took over 6 weeks to refund my money. Not only that, I discovered that Unique Cars and Finance only paid the transport company $830 out of the $850 I gave them. To top it off, they didn't refund me the $600 difference between the $850 I paid them and the $250 penalty. I never even agreed to use that transport company, or sign anything to do with that transport company. Even Unique Cars and Finance's own salesman said that the transport company were scamming Indians! Unique Cars and Finance will no doubt respond to this review, and try to imply that they acted "transparently" and "professionally" etc, but the facts speak for themselves. They are criminals (personal opinion). I'd give them MINUS 5 stars if possible. Deal with them at your own peril. read more
