Needed a cut while on a business trip. Scheduled an appointment with Alonzo. I usually get a bald fade, medium with a straight razor. Alonzo was very experienced and exceeded my expectations. I'm very particular with barbershops and this one definitely checked the boxes. Inviting and clean shop. Staff was hospitable and had a good conversation with Alonzo. First off, we've been going to this Barbershop over a year. So, I had an appointment for 5:30 pm with Andre. I cancelled that appointment for an earlier appointment at 1:00 pm. I got an email saying his 1:00 pm appointment was cancelled also. I call the shop and the girl at the desk answered the phone and said "Hello". Not hello Unique Cuts. I had to confirm I was calling the right place. I told her I made an appointment for 1:00 pm and I just got a saying it was cancelled but I didn't cancel it. She said Andre canceled your appointment. Mind you this is the second time since we started going here that they've done this. No phone call or apology. She then tells me he can cut my son's hair at 2 pm instead. I said no thank you. The lack of professionalism and the audacity is what gets me. I made that appointment and he just went and canceled it. So no thank you, we're never going back there. That was rude and unfair. I brought my brother here for a cut. There is a sign on the door that masks are required yet some staff and customers were not wearing. My brother is mentally disabled so I usually will call the shop to confirm how he likes his hair cut and to help him with paying. I called the shop twice from the parking lot and no one answered yet there was staff available to answer. My brother texted he was fine so o didn't come in. Cut is nice but I was shocked at what he was charged when he was told that they don't do shampoos. Of course website has no prices, so lesson learned. They should be better organized and time-management efficient. My appointment was at 6PM with Joanna, walked in at 6PM and they told me that it was rescheduled with another barber (without letting me know). Front desk lady told me he was almost done with this customer and I waited 10 minutes and then asked if she could confirm the time, she went asked him and came back telling me that it was going to take longer. At least give me a call ahead of time to let me know and no waste my time going there. I could have saved the trip. However, the staff is friendly. read more

I met a gentleman at Costco at the gas pump and he asked me where do I get my haircut. He proceeded to give me a brochure to say try these guys out unique cuts. Christian Was the barber that I selected after reading reviews and he seem to have quite a bit. First off let me say that he was very professional and very meticulous in the process of cutting my hair. I count on Yelpers to leave reviews that would help me form an opinion so I just want to leave an honest review from my experience. I get my cut a couple weeks ago and I waited to be around family and friends as they usually complement me on my haircut. Needless to say the reviews were not positive my hair seem to be chopped up I asked for a temp-tape instead I got a fade. The top of my hair was not really touched at all and he cut it into a cone like shape that I absolutely hate. I knew I should've rethought getting my haircut after the language barrier was clearly present, resulting in us using photos from his phone to give him an idea of the kind of cut I wanted. I usually like to chat it up with my barber however he spoke broken English and this was not an option. if you look at the majority of the pictures of his cuts that he did, he did a great job on Caucasians to Hispanic type of hair but he doesn't know how to cut African-Americans texture hair. So much for taking a recommendation at the gas station. I will be back probably but I would definitely have to choose somebody that speaks better English and one of the guys who cuts African-American hair on a consistent basis. First time here and my husband and son will Definitely be back. It was my 2 year olds first haircut, and they had an awesome car to keep him distracted in while Fabian cut his hair. We weren't sure how to cut his hair, but what Fabian suggested and produced was perfect. He worked quickly because my son was constantly moving, but did excellent work. My husband also got his hair cut and beard trimmed by Fabian, and he is talking about going back as soon as possible he enjoyed his cut and trim so much. Scheduled an 11am appointment with Leo, showed up 10 mins early. I waited for over 30 minutes with no apologies or mention of when he would be ready (he was working on a customer). Usually when you have an appointment and their previous one is running over, it's common courtesy to let your next client know how much longer it'll be.. that didn't happen. After more waiting I finally got up and walked into the back to ask when I could be seen, when I saw Leo he put up his hand as if he needed me to sit tight and continue waiting. I immediately left. I drove 30 minutes to this barber shop to end up not even getting my haircut. Extremely poor experience and won't be back. read more

I've gone to a salon to get my haircut for most of my life, but due to the COVID crisis, my regular stylist is booked solid into mid-June. I couldn't wait that long. My last haircut was right in the beginning of the crisis. It was a DYI fade that my wife did for me from a YouTube video. That's pretty much what it looked like. Not bad but not great. So, I thought this would be a good time to try a barber shop. I've been wanting to for a while, but I've been going to the same girl for 10+ years and didn't want to go through all that. I found Unique Cuts II by sheer chance. Through nobody's fault, there's a little bit of a language barrier. That doesn't bother me one bit though. I was able to communicate what I wanted through pics and the few words we both could understand. David cut my hair (a nice fade) and also lined up my beard perfectly. I got the royal treatment. Sooo many clippers, guards, straight razors, etc. They put this stuff on my face that smelled amazing but stung my eyes a little. I still don't know what that was for, but I just trusted the process. It was amazing! He really took his time and was extremely detailed. Best haircut of my life, honestly! Now that I know what I've been missing, I might never return to the salon again, except to say hello when my wife and kids go! read more

My son and I went to have our hair cut this week. We were both there the previous month. My son had Andreas and I had Christian. A month ago neither of our hair cuts were very good. Both about average. Like the shop and vibe so we wanted to try again. This time my sons hair cut was cut well but completely not what he wanted. The barber just completely ignored what my and son and I explained and did what he wanted. I was not watching because I was being cut by Christian who completely dropped the ball. The haircut was wrong, then he attempted to fix it, still wrong. The beard trim was uneven and poorly done. I paid both barbers and went on our way. My cut was so bad I had to stop on the way home at my old barber who took 20 mins to fix Christians work both on the hair and the beard. Normally, I wont complain. I just don't return for their services. This was too bad to ignore. 4 total cuts. 2 - average, 1 good but wrong, and 1 disaster. Hope it helps. read more
