This is a barbershop for EVERYONE. I can't recommend this new spot enough. I cam here the other day to get my hair cut by Jay Patton, one of the owners of this spot. It's been a while since I've met such a solid barber who is clearly so involved with his craft. When you come to a barbershop, I feel like a lot of times the barber will be specialized in a certain hair texture. But, Jay has it all down. The man is such a great person to chat with if you're feeling talkative while getting your hair cut. His hospitality when you're in the chair is second to none, the moment I sat down I knew I was in good hands. This spot is brand new, so the place is ultra clean. The haircuts here are the same. I walked out feeling like an absolute baller. If you want, Jay will hit you with some solid blade work. Traditional Shave Masters also has a brand partnership or something with Lay-Rite, which is a great product too. So, this came as a nice surprise when Jay was styling my hair. I got a fade but essentially let Jay be creative with my hair. Honestly, I feel like this was the right decision because what he had in mind was better than what I could have ever expected for myself. Traditional Shave Masters has a lot of potential to be a great barbershop. With two main barbers that can handle essentially all hair texture, there's not a haircut they can't tackle. I had a lot of time on my hands so I let Jay take as much time as he wanted. But, If need be they can work on your hair as fast as you want and still net the same perfect cut. Prices here are worth every penny. You're paying for a great cut but also top-tier treatment in every which way. I think what defines a great barbershop is not only the quality of the haircuts and treatment but personality of the person who cuts your hair. My barber I always go to was out of town the week I was going to California for a small vacation I wanted my haircut to look as fresh as possible when I got there so I was in a rush to find a new barber that could give me something close to what I was used to with my regular one. That was when my friends recommended me Jay. I set up an appointment online to see him asap. The first thing I noticed was how clean and nice his shop looked. He had some Jay immediately greeted me and sat me down for my haircut. I was little nervous coming in but that quickly vanished as he began talking to me. Jay is the most talkative person I've ever met. I'm usually a quite type and like to just get my haircut and leave but with Jay I wanted to talk more about everything. He's such a nice and interesting guy. He also knows how to use his hands! The moment he started cutting my hair I knew that he was an excellent barber. He took his time with the my fade and made sure it looked as clean as possible. He'd do a double take each time to make sure he didn't miss anything. Once he was done he showed me every angle of my hair to make sure I loved everything about it, and I did! Jay is an excellent barber with an amazing shop. I'm so glad that my friends let me know about him. I was stunning in my photos in California and that is all thanks to Jay. If my barber isn't available I know Jay is the one I'm going to. Went here based solely on the yelp reviews and pics. It was a 45minute drive. I'm very picky about my hair, getting a good fade is hard and generally gets botched. The rating is for the poor customer service, not the cut. I had an 11am appointment with Jay of April 9, 2021. I just moved to the area and he was the closest barber with nearly exceptional reviews. Today must have been the day that his excellent customer service went on vacation! I arrived promptly as I always do. I firmly believe time is money and would never want to play with anyone's money or time. I guess Jay didn't look at his schedule because he had someone else in his chair at 10:57am and proceeded to cut, joke, laugh, and talk his customer who hardly had any hair them until 11:30am! It was at this point that the other barber Carrie alerted him that I was his appointment. I guess he doesn't bother to check his schedule, or new customers don't matter when you have an established clientele. Either way, Carrie completed my cut. I'm thankful for her, but it was a horrible customer service experience. I won't be back. read more

I visited for the first time yesterday after my regular barber moved shops for the 3rd time. Unlike many of the factory-type barbershops in the area, this place has a great laidback, yet professional vibe. Jay the owner cut my hair and I can say the man has a technique that comes only from many years of experience. He asks lots of questions when you first sit down and then sets about his work with precision, exactly what you would expect from an old-school barber. My haircut looks great with clean lines at every angle. He doesn't miss a thing. Jay is also a great conversationalist, almost as if I was speaking with an old friend. Special bonus: he plays smooth jazz, which totally reflects the personality of the shop. I will definitely be returning here for my next haircut! read more
