Fantastic barbershop in Suwanee. Great haircut, hot towel & shampoo. Fantastic quality and they take their time to get your hair right. I went to this type of shop in the 70's and 80's in New Jersey. They still use a straight razor for neck trims, which IMO is rare. My barber is Kat and I have been going since I moved here in September 2025. I would highly recommend. read more

I stopped in here because it was relatively close to where I live, but also because my usual spot was closed so she could go home to visit family in Korea. So, we knew about this spot, driving by Anjoo a lot on our way home from shopping in Duluth. Walked in on a Friday afternoon and 5 people were there and all busy at work. Still, they were able to accommodate my father and I. Thuan Pletcher is the manager here and she had a spot open since I had my father go first opening. I got lucky because she knows what she's doing. We had a conversation about how I'd like my hair cut, what would look good, and the way she would get me in and out of the chair asap while making sure I was happy. She's super personable, friendly, and funny too. We discussed my heritage and she was understanding of why I have my parents with me here in GA. Laughed at my jokes, which always is nice, . I walked out of there and I was very pleased with the results. It's always a toss up when you go to a new spot, or even go to a place like great clips because chances are you're not going to be 100% happy with the results if you're not going to your usual stylist. HOWEVER, I was jacked up in the best possible way. Just the way I needed the cut, the sides blended in nicely since it grows out sideways from the side of my head instead of down, with gravity. My bangs and top were cut enough to grow out by the time I head off on vacation and will be great for photos. The cost is on the higher side, but when you're pleased with the results it feels like you're making a sports gamble/bet you know you'll win. My father is loyal and may go back to the old barber, but she's elderly and may not be around long term. So I have a choice, which is never a bad thing- and it's so much closer than Duluth from Cumming. Thank you Thuan for making me look and feel good! Hope to be back, but I wanted to tell people that this shop is there (hard to see since you're flying down Peachtree Industrial Blvd at speed) and you should want to visit Thuan P. Took my son here for a haircut. It's a nice place tucked away in the shopping strip unassuming. Our barber Quant was friendly, listened to the style our son wanted his haircut and even pointed out some things based on his last few haircuts to fix (from another place). At the end my son really liked his haircut. Pricing is more on the top tier but you get what you pay for. I will be bringing him back for more haircuts . read more

Please DO NOT come to this business if you want a decent haircut. We came in for a trim and some layers for my boyfriend's hair. Had specific instructions not to cut off his sideburns and to not cut it short even showed a picture. THUAN is the hairdresser that gave my boyfriend a borderline buzz cut, no layers and she shaved his sideburns halfway up his head. I called and complained and talked to Thaun and she simply took zero accountability and didn't address our dissatisfaction and hung up the phone. This business clearly hires under qualified people posing as barbers. They do not know how to cut hair or listen to simple instructions. Please save yourself the money and stress and go somewhere else to get a simple haircut. read more

I took my tween son here today (I'm Korean, and dad is white, so he has very thick wavy hair, which can be tricky to cut and style). I've been needing a haircut for a while now, but my normal barber shop isn't open late enough for me to go during the week. And sadly, and unheard of, they don't open on Saturday. I mean, what do men usually do on Saturday mornings? They go to the barber shop where they generally don't get to go on weekdays because they have a job. While in Suwanee, I figured I would get a cut and started looking for shops. I found Suwanee Barber Shop when looking online and decided to give it a try. The wait wasn't long and soon, Thao called got me in the chair. The only word I can think of is perfect. The conversation between us was great and we realized that even though we grew up a world apart, we had lots of similarities. It was a treat to hear her tales and to know that someone else knew what it was like. The stylist was very nice and did what the customer wanted. Just know that if your hair cut is not short enough to your taste and you want shorter, the owner will charge you twice. No disclosure provided. Said it was her rule! My rule is if the customer never left the chair, it is 1 hair cut. As far as the shave, got cut on the chin. The worst haircut I ever got. I have decently long hair and all I wanted was my same haircut and style just trimmed 3 inches and she decided to change my whole hair style. My last haircut was in Peru while traveling and I didn't think I could get worse from my own town. Lady didn't understand anything I was saying and tried to blame me for her misunderstanding. I had to get up and pay for my unfinished haircut before she could mess my hair up beyond fixing. In the end she was smiling and laughing about her mistakes. The utensils used were dirty, had someone else's hair in them before they touched me. I have specific instructions for a medium fade and don't touch the top. She did a high fade and went to cut the top, I said no and she still did it. So doesn't listen to the customer and doesn't clean their tools. read more

I had a bad experience. I'll admit i was late to my appointment. I did call & said hey i'm running late & apologized. She asked what time could you be here & i said i'm only 6 mins away. So she said just come. So I did. When I walked in I told them hey I'm the appointment for 5:30. No one told me who I had or who I was waiting for. They just told me to sit down. So I did. Also, while i see a couple of the barbers just sitting down. One guy came in & a barber took him. Then another guy came in and a barber took him. Then the first guy who came in left & they took in someone else who came in. Then the second guy left & they took someone else & said I'm waiting for someone. It's was 40-45 mins & I can't believe how long it would take. So I just left. Plus no communications. That's the annoying part for me. That if they were busy let me know that. Also, let me know how long it will take. Then when i'm waiting it would be great to communicate with me how much longer OR point to the barber i'm going to be seeing & mention hey you'll be after this guy or i have another appointment before I get to you. Literally no communication. The first time I went here was like that too. It was luckily saved by Quang who was so nice. but I was early to my appointment & still waiting for 15 mins with no communication. Good business & good service is communicating with your customers. If you want to stand out from all the other barbershops who can cut hair really well, then step up with your service & treat people with respect. read more

Best ever. My hair is "special" . I'v got a cow lick, and it stands straight up on my head. The stylist here are very good and always take the time to make sure I look like a million dollars. The shave is great too. I've never looked so good. I recently got engaged, and I'm pretty sure Thuan deserves half the credit for keeping me presentable. read more

I know many of us (mostly men) have been getting our haircut by Thao at Friends Barber Shop, and were disappointed when she left several months ago. While I enjoy the Friends Barber Shop team, I was very happy to find Thao this week at Suwannee Barber Shop on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. If you're a Thao fan as my son and I have been for a couple years. It's been a couple of weeks since I visited The Suwanee Barber Shop. I was greeted by (Mrs?) Evie and seated right away. I've never been very happy with anything other than a buzz-cut (Alfalfa hair) so I consider it a challenge for each new barber I visit to cut my hair really short on the sides and "longer" on top yet doesn't stand up. Evie advised the best option and gave me the haircut and cleaned up my beard. I walked out very happy with both. I still am - no Alfalfa hair. I have been known to stick with a single barber for many years when I've found a good one. I'm thinking I found my barber for the next few years. I'll be back. read more

Walking out of another appointment a few doors down, I opened yelp to see if there were any good barbers in the area. I have lived up here for two years and not had an affordable haircut I like in the area, so I go back to a Chinese salon on Buford Highway in Brookhaven. Realizing it was just a few feet away with great reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I walked in, Evie was able to answer some of my questions, give me a few recommendations, so I decided to get a fade cut and hot straight razor shave. She was kind, listened to what I had to say, made a couple counter suggestions based on my face shape and hair style, and did a fantastic job. I will definitely be coming back, and would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a good haircut, nice shave, without too high of a price. read more

This is the 4th barbershop I've tried since moving to Georgia and by far the best one. It was refreshing to get a real haircut, hot towel and razor neck shave without waiting two hours or going deaf with overly loud music. Quan was fantastic and professional. You can tell that he takes pride in what he does and is a perfectionist with your needs in mind. The other barber on duty is named Greg and he was a pleasure to speak with and does great work as well (going off of who he had in his chair).
