Would recommend if you do not mind paying $25-30, and cannot find a shop closer to the city. I cut my hair short on April of 2017. When I decided to get a boy-cut, i went here. I chose Gary since he was a fellow Redskins fan. The place is very clean, looks near and well organized. They usually have the TV on or music which gives it a nice vibe. Since this shop is further in the county, prices are a bit higher. Closer to the city I pay $15-20, here in the county i pay around $25-30-for varying qualities of cuts. Gary is a nice guy, very friendly. Out of q0, I would give him a 7.5/10. I was always very happy walking out if the shop, only to see something uneven when I got home. read more

If you like taking your kid home with razor marks like these from a 30 min $20 haircut - be my guest..or better yet find you another place to get your haircut - so your kid gets there hair cut and not there skin - feel bad for my baby his neck hurts - just horrible. Do Not Go Deserves no stars - looks like was cut by an amateur- it's not even - it's not clean - and my son has to scream in the shower now for weeks while his neck heals. If I were you the quit your day job sounds like a good idea. Highly displeased and I'll be calling to also let you know. What is wrong with you. I said shape him up not cut him up. If you want a cut where the barber didn't wash his hands after smoking, not honoring appointment time, nodding off during the cut, leaving patchy spots, and taking so damn long just to do about half a cut, this is the place for you. Granted it wasn't from the owner but this barber is apparently a master barber. Um no. Husband walked up and left in the middle of the cut because of how horrible his experience was. read more

I'm not sure why there are 2 of these shops across the street from one another, but I took my son to the one across from the Big Lots in the strip across the street. I am a white woman with a mixed 3 year old son and I'm very anxious about taking him to the barber and I haven't found a reliable one yet. I went here because it's close to my house. We had the barber at the 1st stool on right when you walk in. He clearly didn't want to cut his hair but there was no one else. I have no clue how to ask for the cool shape up, with the lines in it and I tried to ask for something like that he said he was too young for that he gave him a sloppy cut and then charged $30. We left and then my son's father wound up going back there to complain and he would only refund the tip. HORRENDOUS. read more

This is the only barber shop in the area that is charging $30 for a hair cut and as seen from other reviewers, they do not offer the craftsmanship that would even warrant such an absurd price in this area. This is absolutely "Self-Serving" and speaks of a total disregard for the welfare and interests of the community. These two shops are located on Hospital Drive in the two shopping centers across the street from each other, the shop named "Kevins" is located on Crain Hwy in the other shopping center at the stop light at Hospital Drive and Crain Hwy to the right if you are already on Hospital Drive but across on the other side of Crain Hwy near the Seaside Carryout restaurant and it is there that you will find both an Excellent experience and a "reasonable" price. read more

Straight up I paid 35.00 for a hair cut that didn't even look like it got cut. If you're not on your toes you'll be taken advantage of. Sport clips charges 15 bucks for a simple hair cut just like the one I tried to get today. Just disappointing. read more

I moved here a few months ago and was immediately referred to this guy. There are two locations and plenty of skilled barbers here to help people with all types of hair. The staff is very friendly and the prices are great. I would recommend anybody who is in the area (or not) to check out this shop. Barbers here pay attention to detail and don't rush you out of the chair like most barbers. read more

Today my son & I experienced racism. I'm so upset right now. I took my son to the the barbershop, Unique Looks LLC in Glen Burnie. I called ahead of time & was told by 2 people it would be 30 minutes. The guy who said he was going to take him, left as we were sitting there waiting. The moment we walked in the door we started getting looks & people talking under their breath. They start taking guys who walked in after us. Then the guy who left comes back & tells me he never told me 30 minutes & I must be mistaken (mind you 2 people told me 30mins). I tell him that's fine we'll take whoever & he says ok. No one else says anything. Another guys comes in & a dude says he can't take him till 1:30. I decide to get up & explain my son's haircut because their apprehension is apparent. I told them I see the looks & not to worry, my son doesn't want a scissor cut he just wants the sides done. One dude then tells me he didn't give me any kind of look. I tell him regardless, they've told me before they can't do scissor cut & im not there for that. Then he tells me the 4 of them are completely booked for the day so they can't take him (mind you he told another guy to come back around 1:30). I'm done at this point. I've been sitting there for an hour being stared at, having people whisper to each other & no one is willing to cut my kid's hair. I tell them if they didn't want to cut his hair then someone could have said something & I would have just left instead of wasting my time. I left. Imagine this were the other way around. I'm not white, I'm not black, I'm both & I get to see it from both sides. I've experienced it from both sides. read more

In the 6 years I been in the military, this had to be the best hair cut I ever had! Derrick took me in even when I showed up 5 minutes before closing and he didn't rush. He took his and is a true craftsmen in his trade. I highly recommend trying it for any style of men's cut. read more

This is a great place for a haircut. It has a very knowledgeable staff, friendly environment, and a relaxed/comfortable but professional atmosphere. From haircuts, styles, or a clean shave, they have it covered. They take walk-ins, inform you of the estimated wait time, and never have you waiting for service any more than about 15 minutes. Last year, we were in Glen Burnie to move my brother across country because he needed care. When we arrived, he looked terribly disheveled and we knew that we couldn't board a plane with him looking like that. Late on a Saturday night, I felt desperate and started googling barbers in the area. Derrick answered the phone with the friendliest most professional voice. He agreed to meet us at the rehab facility where my brother was ON A SUNDAY! I didn't know what I was getting until he arrived right on time carrying his barber tools in a case and ready for a challenge. He was clean and put together and was so sweet and patient with my brother. He cut his hair right in his room and treated my brother with tremendous respect. I will never forget Derrick. I count him among the angels who helped us during a very stressful time. It has taken me a year to write this review, but I have thought of Derrick and told this story very often.
