This shop isn't a large shop but they manage to pack a lot of things in here. Besides the ladies clothing they also have things like wallets, bags, jewellery & some kitchen stuff (mugs, linens). Their winter scarves & gloves were on sale so I got a very pretty blue scarf too! I'd never heard of this store before as I don't frequent the Danforth area much. But I'm glad I came here after my friend recommended it. This is the kind of store I like to support. Ironically they carry one of the brands I like: Blue Sky Clothing. But, when the store is out of the way, and difficult to get to, there needs to be more of a draw to pay the mark ups. And there are mark ups. About 20% more expensive than other places, and more than that if comparing online. But, the curation of the collection is what makes this place stand out. If you're looking for interesting gifts, or novelty items, there are a lot to be found here for all occasions, and you won't have to wade through a bunch of things that don't suit your needs. Everything is pretty great, and you will see things you didn't even know you wanted because you couldn't even imagine they were things to want. It's a lovely location, and worth the visit just to see what's in stock, if nothing else.

Silly Goose Kids is smart for a couple of reasons: 1) Its run by people who have been in the kids retail business (and they're mothers) for years so they get what consumers want and they know their products well. 2) They have a wide range of toys for a wide range of budgets and also carry feeding accessories and clothing. 3) They are thisclose to Cake Town Cafe (http://tinyurl.com/3cl3raj) which means I, and many other moms will be traveling there many times dosed with scone-y goodness and bleary eyed from lattes willing to buy anything that will make our screaming infants STFU for 15 minutes while we enjoy our sugar high.
