I came into his shop with my newly purchased but not so new Subaru 2005 STi. I immediately said to him "I want 800 horsepower and be able to drive my car daily and I want to rally it on the weekends." Needless to say he laughed at me, made me sit in his office and we started on a more realistic plan for my car. Had I gone to some other mechanic I would have dumped a whole bunch of money that was needless or gotten shafted. He will guide you and let you know what you need for what and he'll try to save you money on the side as well. Plus I can tell you that Ive never seen another mechanic who takes pride in his shop. Everything is properly placed, clean and quite organized which means he doesnt fool around looking for tool rather than fixing cars. The shop is adorned with his countless of first place trophies from races. This guy knows what hes doing.

Eddy specializes in customer service while Jorge is in charge of the techs in the back. Jorge being a certified mechanic himself, he makes sure that all the repairs are done to factory specs. The shop is always busy and this is a good sign, just like a restaurant, you never want to walk into an empty one.

The mechanic here is a former mechanic at one of the Miami Nissan dealerships, and he is great with all cars but knows everything about the Nissans. I live in South Miami, there are lots of mechanics in this area, and even though High Tech Auto is a further drive for me, I would choose to put my car in Dennis' hands (head mechanic) over any mechanic nearby. His prices are unbeatable (unless you do the work yourself). They don't sell you on work you don't need done, they don't try to convince you that you need tires every 30k miles, and they don't try to sell you on wiper blades or air filters on every trip. If you think you can buy parts online cheaper than with them (out of the 20 times I have had them replace things, only once have I found it cheaper online) but don't know how to put the parts in your car, you can take the part into Dennis and they will do the work for you. If you go that route, be sure you aren't buying cheap parts, as for some parts for the car it is better to have genuine parts put on it. They will even help you with that. This is a great, honest mechanic. These guys are very hard to find and I have been so lucky to find the best. This is the first review I have ever written for anyone on yelp, and only have done it because High Tech Auto is truly deserving or some great reviews.
