The selection in terms of groceries was also pretty good, I did find the store a little hard to follow, struggling to find certain products at first. They seemed to stock most of the items you'd expect to find in an ASDA, I still prefer the product ranges available at Tesco and Sainsbury's, who I feel have a better selection of brands, but this store was pretty good for an ASDA. There is a large car park, however, do be careful if approaching as a pedestrian, one of the main crossings is on a sharp corner, which is poorly lit, meaning it is difficult to see if any cars are coming, as it is a blind spot, this would be dangerous in the middle of the day, which almost caused me to get run over, let alone in the dark nights - with winter coming, they need to sort it out as it's a safety hazard. 4*

They have all the essential thing including ding meals, they come in handy now and again!!! Fresh fruit, vegetables, meats and milk, sweets, chocolates, good wine and a small frezzer what more could a busy lady need. Open from 7.30am until 11pm everyday except over Christmas and new year when the hours change. The staff are all good and the shop is bright and clean. Now there is one problem, the only place to park is directly outside and it's always dumper to bumper, thats why it's better for me to walk across.

Food area . I often go there to shop for food, walk around and come out with very little. I just don't find it as good as the hype that surrounds it. To be fair my advice on shopping is know where you want to shop for certain items and shop around. The labels on food is very confusing, I spend ages working it out. Very often the big font price is the per Kilo and the price of the item is alot smaller. and higher in price. Be careful that joint of meat that looks like £8 isnt £16 plus when at the till. My biggest gripe with this Store and I have to check if it happens at others is: As soon as you enter the door your mobile internet stops, Thats annoying. You can't use the Tesco mobile app you bought from them. To use Yelp Checkin I had to sit in the cafe and put my mobile on the window pane to connect to Internet, took it off and it went again. As a brand, Booths is always described as a "Northern Waitrose" but I'd even say that's a bit of an insult, Booths is, of course, more expensive than a regular supermarket but unlike Waitrose, it isn't expensive just to be expensive, most the items are good quality and the service-focus aspect means the staff are generally quite friendly, of course, I'd be careful buying branded goods from here though! This particular Booths location has a decent-sized parking lot, you're able to park for free for up to two hours, although there is clear signage in the car park that you must not use the car park for the Hospital. The store again is a good size, it contains a large Cafe area and many fresh food counters for meats, fish and cheese. One thing I particularly like is how they had certain items from the deli including fish and meat products already portioned out and ready, so you don't have to wait for someone to serve you at the counter. The store was clean and the aisles were fairly well posted so it was easy to find what I was looking for, the signage didn't appear to have been updated for Easter though, which appeared to be where the "Free From" range should have been. The layout of the store was also handy, with the to-go food and drink section, including the OJ machine right at the front of the store, with the newspapers, which is particularly handy if you just want to grab something quick before heading to the hospital across the way. The stock was good for a store of its' size, and the staff were friendly, as you'd expect from any Booths. They only have manned checkouts here, I get this is the same with all Booths stores, but I feel this location being in a busy location close to the city centre and Hospital could do with self-service checkouts to help customers in a hurry to get in and out more quickly. 4*
