I showed up on time for my appointment and waited for over an hour for the PA and had a brief conversation; about 2 minutes. No bedside manners. Also, labs is another long wait. I'm not sure who's running this place but they obviously do not practice patient-centered care. I gave this place two stars because of the front-desk staff; they seem to be the most efficient part of clinic operations. The other star is for the cleanliness (at least on visual inspection). I spoke with the healthcare manager about unsatisfactory experience and he said that I'm not the first to make these complaints; however, much of the explanation he gave seems to align with the practice, that is wait and see and "my hands are tied." May 23: sending prescription to the pharmacy is another wait. It's almost a week later since I provided substantiating documentation and I still don't have all of my prescription (one is OTC!). I'm almost tempted to travel an hour away for medical care because I know the standards are higher. I'm not expecting perfection, but I think that this practice needs to learn and uphold their own core values of "ICARE" that they allegedly claim.

She made the check-in process smooth and set a great tone for the visit. Mariam, the medical assistant, was kind, attentive, and made me feel comfortable right away. She was thorough and genuinely caring. NP Mandi was excellent--she listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and made sure all of my questions were answered without ever feeling rushed. Dr. Maui was outstanding. Professional, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. I felt truly heard and well cared for, which makes such a difference in a healthcare setting. Overall, this team works seamlessly together and provides exceptional care. I highly recommend this Adventist Health location !!!

Worst dentist I've been to. Dr Espinosa did a filling a week later it chipped so he had to redo it…read more When he does the fillings he leaves it messy so it's hard to floss smoothly risking it to lift. When he did a filling the assistant told him she didn't bond it before he started to add another layer and he said it's fine. When I went for a throbbing toothache that I get every night on a filling he did over a month ago he said everything was fine that I can just remove the tooth tried saying I'm probably just sensitive to cold. Didn't want to give me medicine when I was in severe pain and tries to talk like a know it all very dismissive. I had to go to another dentist and told them about this place they told me it was crazy that he tried to tell me "I'm probably just sensitive to cold" they said it could've not been layered correctly gave me naproxen and referrals. Dr Espinosa is new and seems young like he doesn't really have full experience. Sucks because all the rest of the staff are so nice and welcoming. They do get you in fairly quick if you make an appointment though. It's a new building with medical, dental and optometry (not yet available) services. I think overall, this is great for the community of Sanger so they don't have to travel far for doctor's visits. It's clean and very modern inside. The reason I rated this a 3 is based on the specific physician I saw. She introduced herself as Dr. Mari. She was not very personable at all. I waited longer in the room than I actually interacted with her. She seemed very rush and was short with her responses when I asked her a question. I'm hoping that this was just because it was a busy day and not how she treats her regular patients. I'm sure many people use this clinic and I hope that when they go in to get checked out, they are not rushed out the door as I was.

So, after a really long and bad visit with Adventist I made the switch over and I've been very happy ever since. I no longer wait lifetimes in the waiting room. I no longer get the run around and walk out the door with pills I'm not sure if I should take. I no longer am told I'm fine and with time I'll be better. Instead, I have answers. I have concern. I have care, and to me that's such a big deal. I remember on one of my visits I actually cried because I was told "well let's run some tests and see what's causing this" instead of ignoring my pain and misery. I have already recommended this place to family and friends and they to are happy with their experiences. Dental and optometry are outstanding as well, and I love that they are all in one building!

They also did an X-ray and found that I had pneumonia. The doctor was very helpful and did his very best to treat me. He gave me antibiotics, and I am forever grateful. The medical assistant and doctor were both easy to talk to and I really appreciated the doctor's calm and knowledgeable demeanor. One of my visits was for a moderately embarrassing issue and the doctor and MA helped me feel comfortable and I didn't feel any sort of judgement from either of them. My concerns were addressed both times I visited this urgent care and my issues were resolved. This isn't the closest UC to my house at all (I don't even live in this city!), but if time allows, I would absolutely choose this office again. And they are open an hour later than many other urgent cares!
