One star is being generous. We built in a brand new million dollar community in St Augustine. There are 28 homes and all that is maintained is the front entrance and a dry "pond" on one side of the subdivision. It was shocking to see that the builder, Dreamfinders, paid United $36,000 a year to maintain such a small area. After MONTHS of trying to get United to address their poor maintenance of our community and the fact that the sprinkler system did not work for MONTHS causing more damage without United OR our management company noticing, the HOA "fired" them in February 2025. I took these photos at that time. As a business person, I would be appalled that I charged someone $36,000 a year and this is the best I could provide. The owner claims that mid February, all worked as designed and that they left the entrance in good condition. That is a LIE. Our community is now faced with hiring a reputable, honest and reliable company to fix what United Landscape created and somehow is proud of. read more

Richman, American built my home. They did not even dig up the paver base. So when united did the lawn and the sprinkler systems they left The old sprinkler pipes and heads mixed in with the new sprinkler heads and pipes, half of my sprinklers don't even water my grass, I'm on the third time sodden, my grass, I had to pay lots of money. We moved into a NEW build Richmond Home and this company did the yard and sprinkler system. The landscape is cheap. The sod grass was not laid right there are holes forming all over front and back and my yard crew and handyman have both said the same thing... the ground was not prepared right and the sod was not placed close enough. Ok... I start to water ( turn in sprinkler system) since it's gotten hot. My utilities went from 50-60$ to 800$! All due to WATER! I called this company ( since they installed these sprinklers in this yard) to just reset the timing system so it does not use 4000+ gallons a DAY! Ok, the lady who answered the phone really really nice, but 175$ service fee then whatever else $$$. I have had sprinklers installed at 2 other homes and the other companies had a follow up or quality service call to work out any bugs. Who in their right mind would set a sprinkler system to use 4000 gallons of water a day 7 days a week. Just wrong. Nope.... Keep looking. read more

Absolutely terrible company. They are currently doing all of silver leaf landscaping and it looks absolutely horrible. The company installs plants and trees that die and then doesn't stand behind their work and CHARGES us to replace their poor work. Their irrigation system is awful and breaks and guess what again doesn't have a warrentee on the piping charging us to fix things. They literally installed plants that need shade in a direct sunlight area. Our palm trees all look terrible and half are dead. They installed grass near the playground that was terribly done and is a hazard to our kids with a strange netting they are all tripping on. The list goes on. The worst part of this company is they truly don't care. They came to our HOA meeting with attitudes asking us "how long should a warrentee last". Well if your plant warrentee depends on the irrigation system and YOU installed the irrigation then you should stand behind your work. I am not sure how they walk into silver landing proud of their work. It looks like a child does our landscaping. Do NOT hire this company. The other good reviews were bought. read more

United Landscapes transformed my jungle yard into a beautiful oasis. They had great ideas and executed them perfectly.

They did the worst job on my yard. They were contracted by my builder for our neighborhood. The sod had large gaps everywhere, sod dumped on top of other sod, sod upside down. After 6 months of fighting with the building they get them out here to replace the horrible first job. Here we are on day 2 of replacement at 1230 and no sign of them. Two VM's to the sod Mgr and nothing. Finally get our Superintendent involved and what a coincidence they are on their way. Pick ANYONE else to do your yard or irrigation. They didn't even run the right amount of pipes in the backyard for the size of the yard. Total incompetence, and excuses are the backbone for this company! They are supposed to be caring for the Enclave at Ponte Vedra Beach's common areas but they routinely skip our service and let the grass (actually weeds now) become over grown. They get paid by our fees to do the job. Do it. read more

I called this company for lawn service. Jason (man in charge of lawn service) promised to visit Friday to evaluate and estimate my lawn to begin service. He was a no show/no call Friday and has not called to this day. It is very unprofessional to make an appointment, have a client wait all day, to never show. Since this experience, I have found that United is rated a C with the Better Business Bureau due to unresolved issues. I am happy that I did not sign with them. If they cannot show for an initial evaluation appointment then what will they do when they have my business? Does not seem they would be a reliable service. read more

I just had my pavers installed by this company. It was a great, smooth & pleasant experience working with AJ. From my initial contact for an estimate, through delivery of materials, installation & final walk through. Great communication throughout the entire process. AJ was very prifessional and I say this as someone who worked sales for a general contractor in California for 3 years who was terrible at communicating, it made all the difference in the world. I think alot of contractors could learn from AJ's example. My pavers were contracted & installed in just a few weeks & we are very pleased with the final prodect. We could not have had a more positive experience with United Landscapes. From the initial meeting, the landscape plan that was very professional and exacting, to the negotiations on a project price to the installation and follow up..They were very, very good. I had the opportunity to also meet Chuck and Bob, the owners, and they assured us that we would be happy after the project was completed. They kept their word in spite of a irrigation issue that caused some damage. They replaced everything like they said they would and checked back to make sure we were happy. If you want drug drug-addicts running around your house drinking and smoking marijuana and taking pills then this is the company to call I had them come out to my house for some drainage work that day didn't do properly and disagreed with what I wanted and one of them even dropped some pills that I turned over to the police read more

Who ever was acting like slim shady in the passenger seat is lucky I didn't call the cops on him for harassment... I was in public place... walking into mcdonalds and im getting hollered at!!! Your men are extremely unprofessional, he had the window down blaring 106.1 acting as if he was a star on stage at a rap concert!!!! This is a really disgusting look for your company. This company is the one used by the builder, so it's what we have for warranty issues. First issue was that the sides/back f the lot were not properly graded and the lawn was rotting from poor drainage. Lennar sent them out, they peeled off the rotti9ng grass and laid 2 rows of new sod, but did nothing about the grading as it is rooting again. A month ago they were doing an initial grade of the lot next door and knocked down our fence with the bobcat ... left without saying a word, we found it when we got home with the tire marks evident on the fence panel and dirt in front of it. Yesterday they were again working on the lot next door and drove the backhoe through our front lawn rather than the empty lot. In addition to rutting my lawn, they tore up almost 2 feet of sod past the property line along the entire side of our house. What was lush grass is now a muddy slop with tread trails through it. read more

Ive called them 4 times for a warranty issue and no one has called back, come out to look at the issue, nothing. Ive talked to Janice everytime...seems like a sweet woman but something is lost in translation over there. I surely wish my builder wouldnt have contracted with these people because their service sucks! read more

They are actually the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. From the owners Chuck Smith and Bob Blanford to their supervisors. It takes them several times to do the job correctly and they come up with every excuse why it was done the way it was. I feel like the employees that they have are a bunch of drug addicts and have no idea of what they are doing. I would not hire them if they were the last company on earth. read more

Terrible company from top to bottom. The workers are lazy and management doesn't return calls or follow through on promises. This is my third attempt with a lawn service and not hopeful an honorable lawn service with good people exists so I'm going solo. Good luck! read more
