The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and more than happy to answer all my questions. And let me just say--it smells amazing inside. I was so tempted to grab some pistachio ice cream, but sadly I wasn't heading home and didn't want it to melt. Next time, for sure! Didn't interact with anyone working the store part, they didn't even acknowledge my existence if I'm being honest but that's an Asian store for you. Everything was clean, well stocked for its size, lots of options. Not much fresh produce but that's okay. They also carry Jolibee at this location that they pick up from Chicago like they do at the Burnsville location. Nice option to have when you don't want to do the St Paul trek. Fresh fruit and fresh veggies provide our bodies with the VERY best nutrients and vitamins of all other food groups. Steaming not boiling veggies also preserve the highest level of vitamins. ( Dad was a Prof of Biochemistry at a med school.). We are basically what we eat. Fresh meat fresh chicken fresh seafood cooked at home are the most nutritious way of eating . Vitamin A found in the greatest level in fresh apricots and beet green tops helps fight and prevent cancer. Lunds is a gorgeous store but way way too expensive for me. Target is a great option for super low prices but stock/ variety are VERY limited and fruits veggies are extremely limited/ manhandled a lot by customers. Flavor is lacking in potatoes yams and in a lot of Targets fruit which is picked when green. Target runs after the cheapest resource. Their quality is not great. Then CLEANLINESS is essential to me. HyVee aces this. I love the WIDE spacious aisles, the extremely high ceilings and non glaring softer lighting. Thus you have a calmer more relaxed ambiance - - rare today in grocery stores. I come EVERY week here. Their daily sales on beef chicken and pork in special cases, some seasoned thus ready to cook, are excellent FRESH QUALITY! GREAT SALE PRICES too. Their homemade giant variety of FRESH BRATS are pure heaven - - cheddar and original are my FAVORITES! Their " drug store". I was able to stop in a little after 9 to get everything I wanted. They offer prepackaged meal deals that's even cheaper than picking your own. It's a great offer because you get one entire choice and two sides; anything labeled a side is a side option and the entires are labeled too but don't trust the internet because they said you could mix entries and you can't get half and half of chicken and fish. The staff at the deli counter was pleasant, helpful and patient while I was trying to decide. They even have individual meals too so you don't have to commit to one meal prep option for the week. Appreciate that you can also drop off your Amazon returns here too. Space is clean, well lit and lots of parking. Pro tip: get the brown butter chocolate chip cookies, it's worth it.

At check out they usually wait til there's a line of some sort before they bring up another person.
