They then let you roam through the exhibits, giving tidbits of information and are around to answer questions as they come up. I was impressed with the quantity and quality of items they had on display for each war Iowa has been involved in. They have a conference room equipped with full kitchen and a display mirror. It was the perfect location to host this class. We learned how to make 10 quick and easy holiday appetizers in less that an hour plus we were lucky enough to taste them all too. We were lucky enough to also go home with all of the recipes. The instructor was a good editor for Greydog Media. The library offers a lot of free classes for adults and children. Each class is very professional and a great use of your time. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean too.

I have been dealing with a matter over the phone. Via from Las Vegas, NV. From day one. I believe starting July. I have had the pleasure speaking & working with all 3 of these lovely individuals. They all listened to me. Went above and beyond their required job duties. I couldn't thank them enough. So if you are ever needing assistance from the Clerk of Court. Make sure you get one of the mentioned 3 individuals. You are definitely in good hands. I highly recommend this court house. I made it for 1130 AM on a Monday. So what they don't tell you is that they give everyone lunch from like 1100 AM - Noon so when you get there after 1100 AM don't expect for any more than one of two lines out of the 15 to be open. Kind of like Walmart... Only the Polk County Treasurer doesn't have a self checkout option. Even with an 1130 appointment I don't think I was called up until 1215 PM when agents started coming back from lunch and additional windows started to open up. Service was polite enough I guess. Pretty matter or fact and they didn't seem to know why I was there... Even though my number was called and corresponded with an appointment that had all the details in it I'm sure. If you are going to send everyone to lunch... Maybe just don't make any appointments during that time slot? I know your time is valuable, but so is ours.

There was a long line and only one person doing anything passport related. As I stood in line she saw I had a passport and promptly told me she didn't have time to take anymore passport pictures. It was 1:30pm at this point. I explained walk in service was from 1-2pm but she said too many people were ahead of me and she didn't have time. She also acted as if I was a bother to her. It was apparent she wasn't going to help me after I tried to reason with her so I wound up leaving without getting helped. It was hard for me to get there at all due to some difficulties I have and to be treated like that only reaffirms my lack of faith in the USPS.

I had to use the restroom, there was already someone in the first stall but I didn't know it was a man in the stall next to me until I seen the huge guy shoes and noticed the hairy legs that it was a grown man. I quickly got my knife out just in case, when another woman walked in (thank God she did.) As soon as she closed the stall door he quickly ran out of the stall and ran outside, so I ran out after him and stood there to find him stumbling over to his group of friends sitting at a picnic table right next to the bathrooms drinking beer. They were all laughing as they watched him stumble back towards their group and he was laughing as well. I couldn't understand what they were saying as they spoke in a different language and I still don't know why he was just sitting in the women's bathroom. It all happened so quick. There were people everywhere, so you wouldn't think something like this could happen, but it did. My family that was waiting outside in the parking lot didn't even know what had happened. So please be cautious, especially if you have kids!
