Coppell has a wonderful post office on South Denton Tap road as far as post office go. Most every time I have gone in there the lines move fast. The workers have their act together, friendlier more than other Post offices I have been. I picked up some passport papers here the other day. The gentleman that helped me was very informative and friendly. Coppell should be proud of their post office! read more

Eh, it's a post office, so expectations are low, but this one is particularly bad when it comes to packages. I live in an apartment complex with plenty of package mailboxes and the option to leave the package at the main office. But what does the postmaster do nearly every time? They leave me a note saying it's at the post office. I'm like 90% sure they don't even bother lugging the package around and just leave me the slip (which never has a tracking number or anything, by the way). As for picking up the package, they do have a convenient door where you can skip the regular line. But on multiple occasions, the employee hasn't been able to find our package and we either: 1, get another employee to find it (and they do); or 2, come back a day or two later (and they magically find it). I tried requesting redelivery a couple times, too, but nothing happened. So, basically, if I order a package, I have to pick it up on the weekend because they're not open before work or after I get home. Add the fact that there are a couple extremely grumpy people working there and it's not a very pleasant/convenient experience. read more

Came to get my youngest child a passport, it was so easy. Appointment started right on time and took no time at all. This is the fourth time I have used Coppell Post Office for their passport services. Always easy. read more

This place took my box and scanned the wrong code in various times. My package kept circling between coppell and the California distribution center because their employee failed to put the correct label on it. Also, whenever I get packages filtered through this post office, something ALWAYS goes wrong with their carrier. I'm so over this post office. read more

Customer Service here is a joke. These people seem to have no idea what they are doing. To provide proof of mailing, they have you fill out this pathetic piece of paper that I could print off at home. It would have been quicker for the lady to fill it out for me than me since the pen they provide customers kept running out of ink. The Asian/Korean ladies I have delt with are either rude or don't know what they're doing. Maybe they don't care about their job, but customers do. They are pretty good considering all the post offices I've been in over the years. There are several career tellers that do a great job. The only problem is their absolute inability to think outside the box on anything. I bought a roll of stamps and they accidentally gave me a roll of 20 cent stamps. Instead of switching them out, they could only give me 100 - 20 cent, 100 - 5 cent and 100 - 1 cent stamps to make up the difference. Great! Now I look like a moron putting 4 stamps on every envelope! How bout we take back the incorrect roll and give me what I asked for!!! Oh well. They continuously take stuff across the country for $.46 per envelope and that's cheaper than I can deliver them. For that, they earn back 2 stars from the 1 star rating I was gonna give! read more

Drive thru last pick up times are M - F 5pm & Sat 1pm Lots of parking spaces. The staff inside was fast, efficient, and friendly greeting regular customers by name and catching up on family updates. The supplies were all fully stocked. The drive thru and the main parking area have multiple different entrances and exits making access easy for those in a hurry. But, as others have pointed out - please watch for the one-way arrows for traffic direction flow and don't expect a fancy building or new do-it-yourself technology here but, for basic mailing needs, it works just fine. read more

A week ago I dropped off 3 pre-labeled packages. 2/3 packages reached their destination while the other package is still sitting at the post office according to the tracking number. How can a package still be sitting at the post office a week later??!!! Now I have to drive back to the post office to see why my package hasn't left and find out where it is. I sigh in frustration when I order anything that will be delivered by Coppell usps. I know it may take weeks to get the package, no matter where it originated. It took 14 days for priority mail package from Houston to arrive; 12 of the 14 days it spent sitting in the Coppell usps. This has happened numerous times. The most recent is a package from Arizona. It took only two days to move from Arizona to Coppell and now I am on day 2 of waiting for it to move from Coppell usps (which is less than 15 minutes from my home) to me, AND the postal delivery person delivered mail to our neighborhood twice yesterday! I understand that usps is having issues and we are in the midst of a pandemic, but why does it seem that THIS post office stuggles more than others?! Sad and unacceptable. read more

I downloaded the yelp app specifically so I could write this review and if I could give them zero stars I would. Absolutely the worst customer service. Rude and short. As if I was wasting their time looking for my lost package when I knew very well it was with them. When they finally found it they basically shooed me out of the way. Now they've lost my sisters package and said it was probably "stolen". Our whole neighborhood has complained that we never receive the correct packages or that the packages are lost completely. Then to stand in line and ask for help is a nightmare. The worst post office I have ever encountered. I would pay an extra $20 to use UPS or FedEx just to avoid this headache if I could. read more

Always very helpful. Actually answer the phone and will track down packages and/or check their tracking system to find the answer to my question. Lines never too long. Only irritating part is that the counter employees have been trained to upsell--that is, ask if I need stamps or mailing upgrades--even after I try to preemptively say I don't need any other merchandise or mail services. this place is a great location near my place of employment, it's hardly ever busy, even during christmas. i like to frequent their self service postage kiosk to mail and get postage since the line to see actual people can get a little long sometimes. but when i've had to stand in line it hasn't been bad, maybe 10 minutes tops. i like that they have a drive through drop off mailbox. wish they had a large package drop off . their parking lot is horrid, i hate that you have to drive all the way around to get to the front door and that out-lot isn't marked well, so watch out for the cement barriers at the exit , you don't want to accidentally clip them! read more

Worst customer service you can ever have. I keep losing my mail and have been informed by neighbors a multiple times of my mail being delivered not just a block away but several blocks away. I keep getting other's mail. Address does not matter, and you wonder sometimes how it would be delivered where it got delivered. Who the hell works here....or does anyone work at all? I am missing important document that is missing and I can't blame anyone but the delivery person. And try going to the office to complaint about this...no one cares! I sent a certified letter from Houston. It was supposed to be delivered by the 30th. It was last tracked to this Post Office and it fell into a black hole. They have discontinued tracking and I have filed two claims and haven't heard anything. I am an activist and I intend to exhaust every effort until I get a satisfactory answer. I will step up my efforts to include local politicians and I will not stop until I get to the U.S Post Master or the White House. read more

How come packages are in the Coppell or North Texas post offices for days? I do a lot of online shopping due to health issues, and when checking tracking numbers, they set there for several days. When they get to Carrollton, they are in Coppell the next day, then one never knows when they'll be delivered. Any clues, anybody? read more

This might be the worst post office in existence. This is unfortunately the 2nd time I had to pick up a package from there (that easily would have fit in my mailbox). I was the 3rd person in line. I was there 30 minutes. They forgot the first gentleman in line & he finally buzzed again after he had been waiting for 20 minutes. The second person was only standing in line because she used the online postage, but the package drop is full again. While I'm there 2 more people wait in line because the package drop is full. The only positive part of visiting this location is the time spent in line bonding with neighbors about how horrible this post office is. This is more or less the same experience I had last time...lines everywhere, no action, lots of unhappy customers. read more

Coppell post office has busied out their phones. I know this is a busy time of year, but I have speed dialed their number for over an hour and it is nothing but busy. Impossible. I live in Florida and had my grandchild's Christmas gift shipped. At first it was shipped via UPS, but UPS handed it off to the Coppell post office. They have had it for 5 days and have made no attempt to deliver it nor post the fact they they have it in their possession. Inexcusable. The shipper shows where it was handed off to them on 12/10/14. I would just like confirmation that they have it and when they are deciding on delivering it. Not a lot to ask. Why would they want it cluttering up there office at this time of year?
