We keep getting other peoples mail in our mail box that is 1/2 mile from our house. We also do not get important mail. Our annual tax document/very important, was delivered to someone else who was nice enough to drop it off. The add'l problem was that they must have not secured it. And we found it under the porch where the wind must have blown it. But the problem is that the postal delivery person had put it in the wrong mail slot. Another stupid thing: They put a package in the small slot. That fit when the whole thing was open. When it's closed, our slot was not large enough to get the package out. It took forever to get the people at the PO to understand the problem. It never occurred to them that what fits in the open slots may not fit through the little slot we have. And this type of service has been going on for over 40 years that we have lived here. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They continuously lose mail. Twice in the last 4 months they've lost a utility bill and I had to pay a late fee and cut another check. These utilities are all in the same town... Awful. read more

I wouldn't trust this post office with anything you need to ship or mail. Send it UPS or FedEx. If you need something shipped to you, ship it UPS. If you ship it FedEx they may drop it off with the Midlothian post office and you may never get your package. I consistently get mail from other addresses and don't receive things that were for sure shipped to my address. I've had neighbors that are around the block (on a different street) walk my mail to me. I confronted the post office delivery lady about this issue and she raised her voice at me and acted like it wasn't her fault. I've also made formal complaints to the Supervisor and to the USPS post master general. Nada. The post office system in the US is broken and if you want to know why move to Midlothian and get a few items shipped to you. One note: I'm on the outside edge of city limits so not sure if mail delivery is any better closer to the city. read more

The absolute worst mail service ever!! This is the fourth time in the past couple of months that trackable packages have stated "delivered" when there's been nothing delivered. Thank goodness for honest neighbors returning my mail that has been delivered to the wrong address but it's ridiculous!! So today the mail truck was still delivering mail at 6:45 pm and my package was scanned to be delivered at 5:28 pm but the truck hadn't made it to my house yet???? Four adults in the home and no mail NEVER happens here, ESPECIALLY after a holiday, even if it is mainly junk. Here's hoping to my neighbors coming through for me again and in the meantime, I'm contacting a postal inspector because there's something very "hokey" going on with the Midlothian, TX post office!!!! Fed up in Crystal Forest Estates ! UPDATE: went to post office this morning because phone was "busy" for two hours, and two other people were there because they received no mail. RHONDA the supposed supervisor wouldn't come out to speak with anyone, and we were told that we would get out mail today. I pulled my security footage for the package that was scanned "delivered" at 5:28 pm yesterday and of course, there was no mail delivery at all yesterday at my home at any time. I was told they went from six employees to two but that doesn't explain why a package would be scanned as delivered if there was no delivery. Was also told mail men were out til 7 pm.... She (rude lady with black hair that resembles Morticia) said I would get it today). Now they're psychics as well???? Hmmm... I like that it offers all types of services like selling greeting cards, gift cards, mailing supplies, decorative and regular boxes, things to make ones visit there a nice one. It is a very busy post office but people get tended to in a timely and professional matter. The customers are cordial to one another as well. They hold the doors open for one another. read more

Expecting to get your mail in the Honeysuckle Estates subdivision (MIDLOTHIAN, TEXAS) is totally hit or miss. MY NEIGHBOR DELIVERS MY MAIL TO ME ROUTINELY!!! Receiving packages is absolutely NOT happening. I've been waiting for my packages to be delivered to me since January 8. Their GPS shows that the packages were delivered to the wrong house. I have repeatedly called to find out why and if they have done anything about retrieving them. Today, Jan 22 I was told a letter went out last FridayJan 18 but the results are unknown. At least once a week I get mail for other addresses in my box. Rarely is it a neighbors on the same street, most often it is for another street entirely. I live on Meadow Lane and I get mail for Meadow Court, Park Meadow and anything that has Meadow in it, but I will give the post office this, the number of the house is correct. read more

The Midlothian Post Office is the worst po I've ever been serviced by this week alone I didn't receive mail two days when I get 7 to 10 pieces of mail daily. I've lived at the same address over 12 years. You can never talk to anyone directly I'm told to expect a call back in 31 to 40 minutes by the recording. I'm 67 years old and have used the metroplex post office all my life so I know good and terrible service. Very frustrating! read more

I had a package shipped from overseas to me in Lake Dallas, zip code 75065. Well the company sent it to Midlothian, zip code 76065. I called Midlothian and spoke with Ronnie. I asked her what I could do to get my package without driving 55 miles and she was so helpful. She told me she would fix the zip code and ship it out to me today. I don't think she could have been anymore helpful or friendly. You hear a lot of bad things about the post office but I have nothing but good to say about the Midlothian post office. read more
