I dropped off a prepaid package to sell my cell phone to Gazelle and it was stolen, it was never scanned into the system, it just dropped off the face of the planet, and do you think I am going to receive compensation from the post office? I am quite upset, and I'm tired of trying to get in touch with USPS for the last four hours to no avail. The time in Informed Delivery for this package has changed three times and now four times. I have waited over six hours at home for this package today because it's my only day off, and now, the ladies downstairs in this building told me that the USPS employee came in after banging on the door to be let in and said she had to use the bathroom, used the bathroom, and then abruptly left. Where is the professionalism in this profession? Where is my package? This is ridiculous and totally unacceptable. I will not be here the rest of the week to sign for the package: I was here all day today. If USPS is not going to deliver at least within four hours of when they say, they should go ahead and let customers know that it will be the next day instead of changing the time three times and then showing up without the package and leaving without a word to the customer. The employee was right downstairs. Absolutely unbelievable--even by 2025's low standards. Please don't misinterpret: I have extreme respect for the Postal Service of the United States, but I would love to know from that employee what happened tonight? I moved from one location to another and have put in a change of address several times and still not getting all my mail. It's absolutely ridiculous! Not sure if someone is stealing my mail or not. I've been to the Westchester location in Grand Prairie to report the issue five times and contacted the customer service manager April Jones and have not received a call back. No one seems to care. If I could give the Westchester Post Office in Texas a negative star, I would. On October 10, 2024, My dad received a notice in the NDCBU, an attempt was made to deliver a certified letter. My dad suffers from recent health issues and requires assistance from a walker. My parent contacted the Westchester office, by phone to address concerns of this complaint. A female answered the phone. She refused to give her name nor her postal title. This female postal worker was informed a second attempt to redeliver was made online and we have a ring camera which confirmed our rural carrier never came to the door the day the notice was left inside our curbside NDCBU, on the 'first attempt.' The female who heard my parent's complaint, was very rude, insinuated my mom was lying and barked instructions 'to come to the Westchester location to pick up the certified because no 2nd attempt will be made' before hanging up on my mom twice. We received a letter, stating that Westchester is closing our claim. A letter was sent to the Grand Prairie postmaster. Perhaps a letter of complaint should be also forwarded to the MPOO or the local news. read more

Will never use this facility again. The way my wife was treated was uncalled for. Embarrassed her for asking questions about returning a package as the company asked her to. They rarely deliver my mail and any packages from amazon that they don't feel like getting out of their little vehicle for they just mark as "Moved, left no address" so they won't have to deliver it and just send it back to amazon. So many problems with these guys. read more

Most of these employees have a horrible attitudes. And this has been ongoing for the 14 years we have resided here. So, the covid-19 thing is NOT a factor nor a valid excuse. The lock on our mailbox that Is owned by the USPS doesn't work and they are demand money from US to fix USPS property. Each one of our family members gets told something different each time we go in to inquire about the status of our broken mailbox door.... To make matters worse: After we processed a hold mail request and it had been on hold already over a week, they "mistakenly" delivered our mail to the broken box (without a functioning door) for anyone to easily steal. Horrible customer service! Called to complain that my mail was not picked up from my mailbox and all the guy did was make excuses! If the mail carrier didn't see the letters on the mailbox his guide dog should have! On multiple occasions we've had other people's packages and mail delivered to our house, makes me wonder where our mail wound up! My husband would always deliver them to the correct addresses, he has delivered more mail to the correct addresses in our neighborhood than our own mail carrier! Last Christmas we sent four Christmas cards with gift cards inside and they arrived at their destinations ripped open missing the gift cards! And to top everything off in October my cousin sent me a birthday card by certified mail and it was 2 weeks late! Maybe they should just strap the mail to feral cats and let them deliver it it would be more effective! read more

This is the worst post office I've ever dealt with. I have 2 pieces of mail (checks) and a package missing! I have contacted the post office and even went up there with nothing but excuses and getting the run around. My regular mail carrier decides to go on vacation the week befor Christmas. The sub carriers are horrible, trifling, carriers who should just quit. I live in a apartment so the mail boxes are tiny, they stuffed a package they delivered as a Christmas gift for my mother in that tiny box. I could barely get it out. Then they put 2 checks of mine in someone else's box or lost them. This has been the worst holiday season for me thanks to this shitty post office!! But when you want to ensure that something gets sent to the right place and you have confirmation of its arrival, the post office is the place for you. I needed to send something via snail mail and wanted to track its progress. I went in on a Saturday morning at about 10 and was out within 10 minutes with no problems whatsoever. The employees here are always so miserable and rude. I had the 'pleasure' to deal with one in particular who is ALWAYS so pissy and rude. Yesterday- I went to pick up a package. I gave her my pick up slip- and she asked for my ID. I handed her my 3 part ID wallet that houses my DL, Military ID and CDL. All valid forms if ID. When I handed to her- the ID on top happen to be my CDL. She looked at it- huffed in annoyance and said 'no need to show me THAT ID' as she handed it back. I flipped it over and tried to hand is back making my drivers license visible to her. She said 'no- I got it already' as she walked away with zero motivation to find my package. What the hell was the point of mentioning THAT ID?? It has all of the pertinent information needed to verify my address and identity to pick up my package- I was NOT carrying in the building- I did not deserve to be treated like I did something wrong. This particular woman is always this nasty. She is so short and rude with everyone I have seen her come into contact with. I get it- there just be stressful days in your job- but we all deal with stress. If you hate your job so much- move on instead of being so damn rude to those you are supposed to be 'serving' as a public servant for the US government. read more

The mail carriers do not know how to close the door on a mail box. Mine has a tight seal and has to be pushed closed. Have turned in numerous complaints and they assure me the problem will be addressed. Last four days, mailbox still left open. The lobby hours should be adjusted to be open later for those that work 8-5pm during the week...it is very difficult to get there before 5pm or take time off work just to get your mail. I rushed to get there by 5 and walked in at 5:01 and they didn't let me in. So frustrating. read more

Sent international package back without attempting delivery or even so much as posting a tracking update even though they had a tracking #. The address was difficult to read so three days before christmas they just sent it back without sending email update. I got updates at all other locations as this package made its way from overseas but when arrived here they sent it back without even attempting an email update. I could have gone and picked it up! Why would someone "return to sender" at three days before Christmas? That's just someone not thinking and who doesn't care! I'm ready for the Post office to go out of business!
