I'm an older lady that may not be as hip with the times as others may be. When I go to Festus store they have been gracious enough to help guide if I didn't understand something. The nice lady greeted me and asked me if I "started the return?" I did not understand what that meant. I technically didn't know there was a different process, so she told me where to go. Online. I attempted to do all of that by myself while she helped other people. When I thought I had completed it adequately, She called someone from the back to assist me. He didn't introduce himself. He didnt have a name tag on. Asked for the bar code. Which I promptly gave him the paperwork that the product had included in the packaging in case I needed to return, which had the barcode on it. Then he said "that means nothing to me" I was confused and asked for clarifications because this was suppose to be what I gave them per the company I purchased from. i had 3 papers with me. I handed all three to him. i couldnt have been more upset when he stated with a sarcastically condescending tone "you need to learn how read and follow directions" I've been a hospital nurse RN/BSN for 33 years. 9 of which I worked hospice. I am well versed in communication, written and/or otherwise, with the general public. I am a very compassionate person. I was astounded by this statement. Since he did not have a name tag on I asked nicely "and you are?" He stated " I am Bart, the owner" At that point I gathered my items and left- because I was so upset and hurt. I knew that it wouldn't get any more respectful. I felt defeated. Then as I got to the door he sarcastically said, "have a nice day ma'am". I'm sure if he spoke to me this way, then it's not the first or the last. It's very disheartening. No one should be spoken to like that. they should respectfully guided Gently. My husband saw how upset I was and he immediately went inside to talk to Bart. He asked him if he always spoke to people the way he just spoke to his wife? Bart tried to rationalize his actions and was Set straight by my husband in front of other patrons. I sincerely hope that he has learned the errors of his communication style or that he continues to be held to task for his disrespectful behavior. I sincerely hope he treats his employees with more respect than he showed myself or my husband. If you can. Go to a different location where they will help you with patience and grace!

Our moving company was thrilled to see the green bins stacked in our living room; they were very familiar with the company and found the bins to be very efficient. My one area of critical feedback is that the handles of the bins could be more comfortable....especially if there is any amount of weight in them. I have never had one single problem with any business I have done with this store. From propane fills to truck rentals all were great. That being said, I hope that this will raise their overall score, even just a bit, because people shouldn't be wary of doing business with them over some low scores or someones one-time bad experience. Ha, I had never even looked just headed to the place I always go. When I walked in, they had employees at every register, and a young man called me over and explained I needed to go to FedEx when I gave him the box and label. He directed me to go to Walgreens Photo center, and they could take the package. He affixed the label to the box for me before I left. That was so nice! Even though I was skeptical the Walgreens Photo center could take my package, I headed over there and he was correct, I dropped off the package and it saved me a lot of time!

Be aware: BEK Moving…read moremade a mistake during our move and failed to fully close the water supply line to our washing machine, resulting in thousands of dollars in water damage to our home. I discovered and reported the damage to BEK on 4/27, just three days after our 4/24 move date. Despite this, they denied responsibility. Their denial does not align with their own stated policies: * Their policy states damages must be reported within seven days of the move. Ours was reported within three days. * Their policy also states they are not liable for repairs completed without prior authorization. No repairs were completed -- only emergency mitigation work was performed to prevent additional water damage. We still have unrepaired damage in our home, including a large hole in the wall awaiting repair. BEK's position appears to be that we should have allowed additional water damage to occur while waiting for them to determine next steps, which is unreasonable. Additional concerns: * I have repeatedly requested proof of insurance and they have not provided it. * Calls and emails regarding the claim denial have gone unanswered. * Despite paying a significant amount for their services, tipping the crew well, and providing food and drinks throughout the move, we were not even given the courtesy of a return phone call. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage others to proceed with caution. If you value your home, your property, and responsive customer service when issues arise, I would not recommend using this company.

I was doing some after Christmas organization and was in need of a few boxes that reams of paper come in to store some of my canning jars in. Boxes that Office Depot are never in short supply of and throw away daily. When I asked for a few boxes, I was first told that they'd already crushed them for the day. I asked if I could come back the next day for some and the girl told me no. She said they would rather sell me boxes than repurpose the boxes they were going to throw away. I can buy anything Office Depot sells on Amazon or at Staples. Next time I need office supplies, I won't be going to Office Depot.

I needed to overnight one little piece of paper so I googled the closest post office to me and found this address and put it in my GPS---well I drove past it several times because it is disguised in a plazza as a music store and guess what----it is a music store.....I went in and it very strange as there is a little counter in the front that is a post office HOWEVER they don't provide overnight service.....There were four older men in there just hanging out and two cats and a ton of sheet music and guitars and drum symbols....I am giving these gents four stars because they were very helpful to this damsel in distress by calling to another local post office and making sure that if I ventured a little further I could indeed get my letter sent via overnight---they then proceeded to give me directions to Barnhardt post office.....I have since noticed that this plaza is located in a small area named OTTO and in the plaza is a little barber shop I sent my husband to and he declared they gave him one of the best haircuts he has had in quite some time and it was only 12.00 what a deal.....I am digging my new little community....
