I now travel full time and for the most part have had incredibly positive experiences. Obviously I also know the "back of the house" so usually I can be very understanding. I walked out of this office saying to myself: no wonder the Post Office has the bad reputation. I rarely post but just felt I needed to in this case. Situation: I had ordered some items and they were due to be delivered on Sunday. They didn't come to the RV park I'm staying at until 7:15 pm, long after the office was closed. Now the time given on the web site says by 8:00pm so I can't really say they didn't meet that commitment. I even understand that the delivery personnel are given turn by turn instructions, so even though it makes no sense to deliver a business at the end of a route I'm not complaining on this. I do draw the line however when I go into the office and can't get my parcels. I was first told, "sorting wasn't done, we just got the Sunday Parcels from Sebring". OK, how long, when should I come back? About a half an hour. 30 minutes later. Different clerk at the window. "Oh no, we can't get that, that address is a "drop" (postal lingo for the PO only sorts to the address, not individual people, then just "dropped" at the business). She gets the supervisor who says the same thing. Now they have two window associates and a supervisor and me in the lobby....that's it. I imagine the address I'm at might have on the high side 10 or 12 packages, very likely less than that. Even if still in the carrier hamper it would have taken minutes to do this. At my address many folks leave on Monday, so I'm ready to go and can't because someone decides to "do the wrong thing". They claim to be a Gold Star Office.....LOL.

As far as Post Offices go, this one seems to run smoothly and as quickly as they can. Although it was hard to find parking when I stopped, I chalked it up to the season. With the line, I expected to wait for quite awhile before making my way to the front, but I was really only in line for about 10 minutes. Not too bad at all.

I'm in there at least three times a week dropping off packages, and he always has some unnecessary comment to make. All I did was ask for a receipt, and it seemed like he couldn't be bothered to do his job and scan a few packages. I brought in 6-7 boxes--some were reused, but I had completely covered all the old labels like you're supposed to. He still refused to accept them. So I took my business elsewhere--to another post office where they actually treated me like a customer and did their job without an attitude. Fair warning: avoid this location. And management really needs to take a hard look at who they've got working the counter.

This Combee location has always been good for me- the workers are kind and helpful. I've had to stop here for various reasons and it's never unpleasant. It's located on a weird side street along Combee Road and is easy to miss. Because of this I don't think it receives as much traffic as other post offices so it can be more convenient to go to for that reason too. 2 thumbs up for this location!

This is one of the bigger post offices on the area, and it's clean and nice with plenty of parking…read more It's also one of the few places in the area where you can get help with passport services, which is why I went. You need to make an appointment ahead of time so when you do that they help you pretty swiftly. The guy working when I was there was very friendly and helpful. They also have a big front desk where you can get other services and several people working there to get the line through. Another thing that was new to me here is an electronic do-it-yourself section where you can get mail and packages sent without needing an actual person to help, kind of cool.

Customers just throw packages in there and can damage other peoples envelopes and boxes. They need to take your already paid for packages in a secure and safe location. Please get rid of the community shipping crate.
