It was built in 1922 and it's a historical landmark in the tiny little town!! It looks like it was remodeled in the 70's with all the wood paneling and linoleum floors inside, but the outside in pure country! I love the white exterior with the green gables and the wooden and brick columns! The clerk was super sweet and gave me a bit of history about the place and the area! The population is about 400, and it's just a hop, skip, and a jumó from Deltaville. This is the kind of post office I love to find, one with character and a story! Hours M-F 12-4, Sat. 9-12:30

It is bursting with red, white and blue everywhere! There are patriotic gnomes, teddy bears, hearts, dogs, flowers, garland, wreaths and banners everywhere! There are even a few "Uncle Sam's" in the style of bobble heads and cut outs! It looks like the postmaster is Rebecca Ethington and she didn't forget the bald eagle in her Stars and Stripes theme! It's very festive so one can't help but appreciate the post master's style and dedication to this otherwise run-of-the-mill government facility. Kudos to you postmaster! Keep your flags flying! The original, much more charming post office, used to be located in a quaint brick building in the heart of Main Street, but sadly moved to this drab location further down the road. They have extended services here, including passports, self serve kiosks, and a greeting card station so kudos to them! Hours M-F 8:30-5, closed for lunch 1:30-2:30. Saturday 10-12.

They also have NO idea what they're doing or what's going on, ever. I was told I couldn't ship something out in a way that I've done it 1000x before. I've been told multiple wrong things by them.
