It took me 5 paces to walk the length of this small post office which had a surprising number of old brass post boxes! Now that's teeny!! This post office get 4 stars just for being adorable and charming, but of course as you might expect, the services are limited to stamps, money orders, general delivery and process about 1200 packages a year to this small community. There's basically no parking, we pulled over on the side of the road to check it out, but they have one handicap space out front. This diminutive post office is easy to miss since it's nestled between two houses which are incredibly close to this light yellow, cottage looking post office. Thank goodness was we noticed the flagpole out front or we would have missed capturing this wonderful and unusual govt. facility!! The hours are 12:45-4:45 M-F, 9:00-12:30 Sat.

Sophia usually handled that arena by mostly ordering online, but we were running short so I was given the task to pick some up. It was right after I got off work so I stopped by on the way home. Foot traffic was very minimal which resulted in no wait at all. I actually stood in line for no longer than 15 seconds. As stated earlier, it was for buying a book of stamps. To my surprise, the cost for the book was over $14. Back when I used to ship items off by mail, stamps cost under $10. It's crazy to see the prices go up each year. Unfortunately, we have to accept the changes and move on. Besides the price increase, the transaction went smooth as usual. I know this location will always come in handy for yours truly. A few years ago I had a package sent that the sender forgot to include my apt number on. My regular mailman had the day off and I just happened to be grabbing the mail and saw that the package was not delivered. We tracked it and saw it was being sent back the the sender, so we rushed to the post office. The person behind the counter got the tracking info from us and decided to check for it and found it right away. Another time recently my mailman saw me near the mailbox and gave me a shout because he had a package that was too big for my mailbox and would've had to be picked up from the post office otherwise. This location does get really busy, there are a lot of apartments nearby in walking distance. Sometimes they are understaffed, but that is the case almost everywhere. Everyone I have worked with here has been professional.
