This review is for the 810 Oak Meadow Dr Franklin, TN location.3 My mail carrier hit my mailbox on 1-16-26. I was out of town and spoke with him over my ring doorbell. He said they would be back to repair it. Well, the repair was a silver screw to hold the wood piece that was broken off the post and mailbox door doesn't close tight. When there is a heavy wind or rain door falls open and mail is wet. I have contacted this location a dozen times. I have spoken with Cory once and left multiple messages that were not returned. Went into the office and spoke with Eden which I thought was going to help but after multiple attempts, that did not pan out either. As of today 4-9-26, my mailbox is still not fixed. Mark was his name, a legend.. I came in to grab my keys for a new po box a few months back, and just happened to walk in as half of Nashville decided to also stop by.. The lobby got super crowded really quickly, and the only worker there at the moment named Mark handled it all super professionally. He was helping 2 &/or 3 customers at a time, dealing with people's mistakes and helping people correct issues with their orders all with a super positive and friendly attitude. I was blown away by how good he was at his job, but also just how great his attitude was during a highly stressful and annoying situation. I rarely enjoy coming to USPS only because the almost guaranteed long wait times. I have found this particular store to have some of the most friendly USPS staff I have met! Came with my partner for his Passport appt. and it was very smooth and recently shipped a few items I sold on eBay and got stamps - the staff are the best part, I usually put in my airpods and listen to an audiobook so I feel like I am being productive while waiting in line. read more

I had a package with medication I needed asap. It was supposed to be delivered Friday. But was not. On Saturday at 115 the usps driver said he tried to deliver the package but no one was home. Blatant lie. I was here all day because I am sick. As are both my kids. And two dogs--one a German Shephard who barks like mad when someone comes to the door. THis mail delivery person lied. so I called the Franklin post office 10 times. Even though they were open, no one answered. So then I called corporate. They said there is nothing they can do for me. So now medication supposed to be here Friday (which I am out of) I might get it Monday if I am lucky. I have to use Optim but i will pay the fee ex fee everyone because the post office is incompetent and just doesn't care. read more

Had to stop by the post office today in order to get something out with some urgency. I wasn't sure which route was best for price, timing and confirmation of receipt purposes. Kim was so wonderful and helpful to me! She went over everything, we went back and forth on the options. She asked questions to others when unsure of an answer. I was just so happy with my experience here as at most USPS locations they are rushing you out the door as quick as possible without a smile or anything. We have generally had excellent 5-star service both at the main post office and, especially for home deliveries. (Thank you, James!) Recently, however, we have had totally unacceptable delivery from a substitute driver. When I walked to our box to greet her with a simple "hello" she barked back..."I don't have time to talk." I replied, "I'm just saying hello & thanks." She mumbled something and sped off. A day later she left a package perched on top of our mailbox (30 feet from our door where it should have been placed rather than out in the rain). Two days later she did it again. I have too many variations in mail delivery personnel who don't know the route, who don't check on hold mail segments and deliver when you're on vacation anyway, and they'll put mail in my neighbors mailbox. It's mine so I'm not sure they can legitimately and know the rules. read more

As always, another horrible post office. The service is awful. The people are slow and super grumpy (especially the lady that whispers in an accent so you can't even hear her). The line is ALWAYS an hour long...no matter when you go. The workers are soo inefficient, which is why they are probably just working at a post office I guess. read more

I want to thank our carrier, Ashley! I've seen her delivering at our apt complex, but never had a chance to speak with her before yesterday while she was delivering a mountain of packages to our package lockers. Ashley is friendly, competent, and committed to her work. I know this is a rough time of year for Postal workers - long hours and overwhelming volumes - but it was obvious that Ashley takes pride in her work. I don't think the USPS gets enough credit for their work, especially the front line workers like carriers and counter staff. I want them to know I appreciate them, and especially Ashley, who restored my faith that the USPS will endure. read more

I was hesitant to go to this post office instead of my local Gallatin, TN post office which generally has great service. There was no line when I arrived on a Friday afternoon. I had to fill out a couple of forms, so by the time I finished, there were 2 people ahead of me, but I only had to wait 2 or 3 minutes. I found the people working there to be very friendly and efficient. read more

I came to get 2 minor passports- one for a 16 year old and one for an 11 year old. I received top notch care, with kindess and support, our agent deescalated any worries and was just amazing. 10/10. We did have a reservation and followed all the guidelines ahead of time. It was such a smooth and peaceful experience. read more

Rude staff and painfully long lines every time I come here. The best experiences are "bad" and the worst are frankly insulting.

They're awful. It's literally almost every single time I send a package from this location, it gets hung up in transit for weeks. I'm on day 7 of a package paid expedited shipping for. I went in the other day because my father died and the post office keeps canceling his mail forwarding request. I've done it 3 times. I've moved 5 times, I know how to forward mail. The lady with long white hair was so incredibly rude to me that I just turned around and walked out. She kept telling me that I was canceling the last 3 forwarding requests and that I didn't even request his P.O. Box to be forwarded. I looked down at my phone to get that po box number, because I don't know it by heart and she rudely said "ma'am if you're going to be on your phone, you need to step aside." She had my Dad's death certificate in her hand and she couldn't muster up an ounce of kindness to help me figure it out? Congrats on being awful for a living. It's a post office error and she acts like I'm making the mistakes? I hope she reads this, and I hope she realizes she spread a little extra misery in an already difficult situation. These people are particularly awful. I'd rather go to the dentist. read more

You ever wake up and say, where can I throw some money away. This is your answer! Ship something with this group and the carrier will without a doubt deliver to wrong home. And it gets better, they do not believe anything in the world could be their fault brushing their hands of all responsibilities so the customer is screwed in the lost item and shipping costs. Because god forbid someone try to do the right thing. Literally told me, they are not responsible for lost packages even if delivered to wrong home. You had ONE job. Refused to deliver oversized package. USPS has an agreement with Amazon to deliver oversized packages. I guess Franklin post office didn't get the memo. Extremely poor service. I drive out of town rather than deal with the long line and the rude people at the Franklin post office. read more

THE WORST!!!! You'll be better off taking your parcel or letter and just opening the window and throwing it outside and letting the wind deliver it to the intended recipient. It will get there faster and probably more accurately. We have had to resort to automatic bill pay on ALL of our utilities because otherwise they will get cut off. The post office can't get them in our box. I'm writing this in 2020 and just last year out of the blue I got two DVDs in the mail from BlockBuster!?!?!?! I mean......... how long have they been out of business? And two discs showed up in the mail as if they just got shipped out a few days ago. Which begs to question, what all are they hanging onto down there and how often to they clean up and police the place? Did BlockBuster go out of business because the USPS just lost all of their inventory? It's insane. When the post office is run like Amazon or FedEx it will be a much better entity. I have never left a service feeling more uncomfortable. The long haired lady is disgustingly rude and demeaning. She was so unprofessional and instead of answering my question, she was belittling, dismissive, and disrespectful. I also heard her speak disrespectfully to an elderly lady who was hard of hearing. Normally I would give the USPS a one star at best, however today It was 358pm, and they close at 4pm and we watched a supervisor Rashana, have difficult conversations with a large group of people, including us about the need to close the doors, and self service. She was professional, fair, kind and she was in a terrible spot. People were rude, almost hostile towards her because they wanted to be allowed in the room with the last of today's customers and the line was far too long to allow everyone in and still close up. It was rough hearing people belittle and yell at her. She was in a tough spot and doing a good job. read more

I am getting late notices and late charges for bills that have been mailed 12-14 days in advance of the due date. I have had to pay check stop charges for checks that showed up as much as a month later. The people that work at this post office are very nice but the delivery of the mail on a timely basis has really deteriorated. read more

To the Franklin post office  in Franklin TN 810 Oak Meadow Dr, Franklin, TN 37064  Acted as if my packages were of no concern. Did not San in front of me. Office was empty except for me and the employees. Felt like a dog. Employees seemed to be throwing paper balls in garbage cans to score points. I felt invisible. Handed the priority paid parcels and they acted like whatever and kept on doing what they were doing. I will file a complaint with the USPS general attorney and take this to an issue that people are in desperate need of an item. Especially when my money paid for it. This is how lawsuits take place. Maybe I should write blog in the Franklin News paper or send a fantastic article to the news team investigators in Nashville. I don't want to hear about this Covid-19. They didn't wear masks. My city is not on lockdown and the virus is fitment. Want to act like children. I will inform the Justice system how crooked they are. Even wear a camera to get these joker's fired.  Location time. Terrible service. Once before they did not deliver mail for four days. I went up and they claimed we had no mail. The next day we got so much mail that you couldn't get it in or out of the mailbox. The lady had been very rude the day before. This was all before COVID. NOW IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN. NO MAIL THIS WEEK. WHEN WE HAD STEVE IT WAS WONDERFUL. NO PROBLEMS. WhenHE RETIRED it got terrible. Disappointing service for the past year. Packages would be marked delivered but they weren't in the mailbox, front step, neighbors, etc. I'm not going to excuse this bad service to COVID. Sometimes the packages will show up 1-2 days after. Sometimes not at all. And I'm unable to claim them because the shippers didn't mail them with insurance. And USPS won't refund me. Service is great, but the parking spaces are just too close together. I was parked in the very middle of the two white lines in a space in front of the sidewalk directly out front. The driver of an SUV was leaving the space to my left when he backed up swiping the rear driver's side of my van creating a black mark. It would be helpful if when the USPS re-paves the parking lot to widen the parking spaces. There are so many SUVs and vans in Williamson County. Hopefully, others will be more careful when entering and exiting the parking spaces. read more

Only because I was hoping I would get the lady I got before with the long blond hair instead the one one one that was up next was the lady with the short gray hair and she was very rude and very cranky and seemed like she just flat out hated her job all I was trying to do was move the card ready so I can see and rudely look over at me and said PLEASE DONT MOVE that but when o I saw that o was going to be getting her I already knew kind of what to expect from viewing on how each of them work from the last time I was in here sending out a package so need to be a lot friendlier to customer because it our money and it out stuff we care bout making sure we are getting charged right and she did not like to be question at all not very friendly with guest at all I remember over hearing the last time complaint to guest so yeah I will be back here but I hope I will get the lady with the long blond hair next time read more

Absolutely terrible customer service.... always act so frustrated to help someone when they are open until 6:30 per the sign on their door. Being a business owner I completely understand how busy they are and I'm sure workers are exhausted from the Holiday Rush.... but seriously not scanning in my packages when I get there at 6:27 is just a little frustrating.
