And when I call to complain, magically their tracking service is down, so of course they can't explain what happened or why. I dropped off a FedEx package at Mail Central on Friday April 4th around 11:00 am. I purchased the…read morelabel on eBay.com. I noticed Sunday that the package had not been picked up, it didn't have any scans from FedEx. So, Monday April 7th around 9:00 am shortly after Mail Central was open, I went in to ask Troy (the store owner) why my package had not been picked up. She said I must have dropped off later than I thought, I said I know I dropped the package off around 11:00 am. Then she went on to blame FedEx for not picking it up. As the store owner she took no accountability for the package not getting shipped nor did she offer any ideas on how she would fix the error to make sure it would not happen again. I left the package with her hoping Friday was a fluke and that she would make sure my package would be picked up on Monday afternoon at their normal FedEx pick up time. Monday came and went with no FedEx scan on the tracking. So, on Tuesday April 8th I went in to Mail Central again to see what had happened. Troy was not at the store, so I talked to the employee on duty. She stated that all the FedEx packages were picked up. I said that I wanted to looked to see if my package had been picked up. It was absolutely clear that FedEx did not pick up again. I took my package, made a new label and took it to the UPS store. With Troy knowing me and my husband since 2018 when we began dropping of packages at Mail Central, I expected more customer service from her. I expressed to her the urgency I had in needing to get this package shipped, because on eBay you only have a couple of days to get it shipped. I feel like she at the very least should have called me (my phone number was on the shipping label). I feel like she has no urgency to fix what was happening with FedEx or to service her customers.

These past few times, they've done what they should have: they acknowledged me fairly quickly, took care of my need, However, they didn't have a great attitude about it. The workers were younger and didn't seem happy to be there. Like I said, they did their jobs, but sure not with a smile. I also had to come here because UPS declined to deliver a package from Amazon to me for some reason. They took it to this store instead. They didn't leave any notice at my house; the only way I found out was through Amazon, and then I had to come here to get the package. Not sure what the issue was, but it would have been nice for them to deliver the package or to let me know somehow the package was at the store. Not sure what's going on here. Not my favorite place, but they are certainly "good enough." Previous review: Folks were courteous; I hardly waited in line; they printed out a receipt without my needing to ask for it. My wife dropped off a package here earlier that was too heavy for her to bring in, and they gladly came out and got it for her. Talk about over and above! The only reason I'm holding off on giving the fifth star is because I haven't used these guys but twice so far. However, both times thus far have been very good. They keep it up, and the fifth star is inevitable.

Another service that stands out is their Notary. My husband and I can in with a bill of sale for our Texas home. Signatures were flying and all over the place. The female manager roughly advised me that the fax was $4 and I would have to wait for the previous customers fax to go through. Shes sending 16 pages its on page 5...ABRUPT but OK. Next customer comes in...shes so friendly and her tone is nice. They chat. Now..the manager KNOWS you cant send all 16 pages at once or the fax will fail. So WHY DIDNT SHE INFORM HER STAFF??? The fax fails. Now the customer wants to add a cover sheet. Now they need to locate the fax number and send TWO sets of 8 pages. Ms. Manager is so helpful and attentive to Becky. While Becky is filling out the cover sheet and fumbling for the fax number I ask if she would send my TWO pages. Ms. Manager is back to her ABRUPT voice as she informs me no. OK. No problem I will send the fax later. A GOOD LEADER makes sure the staff is informed of issues and challenges....they dont hoard info to ridicule and then rescue. No wonder this location has 3 stars.

Yesterday we received the recorded updated final order and deed! Correct and complete. If you believe that she had plenty of free time to just skip down the hall and walk our order around to several different departments.... Guess again. Experience in the field tells me she had a VERY full desk and many pending other items via for her attention , yet she took the time to handle ours and get it mailed expeditiously to us within a most reasonable few days turn around.
