I called this morning because the key didn't work in our communal post box. We have individual boxes grouped together and we walk there for mail. If the mail is too big or overflows they have a separate, bigger, box they place our parcels in. When I looked at the key it looked damaged, I tried both boxes to ensure they didn't give me the wrong key. When I called it was quick and efficient. I wasn't expecting to receive a home delivery the same day! I gave them the key that didn't work and thanked them for their prompt customer service. BZ to USPS! read more

This USPS location has gone to crap. Pretty much like the rest of this area of town, so I guess I can't say I'm surprised. It's dirty and smelly. They've even taken away the box INSIDE to drop packages in because of theft. No choice but to wait in the VERY LONG LINE just to drop off packages that already have postage be on them. I did mention it's dirty and smelly in here, right? So yea, not exactly where I want to be waiting. The outside of the building looks horrible too. As does the grass. The handicap sign is rusted and falling over. My tax dollars are actually paying for this? Uggggg!!!!!! Bonus: Got to listen to a "customer" (I use that term very loosely) having a yelling fit and literally throwing papers. I've heard of "going postal" but not from someone who doesn't work there.LOL The 1 star is for the nice employees. I feel sorry that this is the location they have to work at. Zero stars for the actual post office. This place should be condemned. And the "clientele" leaves very little to be desired. read more

Typical post office that is located in the north part of Jacksonville, Florida. It served its purpose and I was able to get my package shipped. If you are in the area and need to mail a package, this place will do the job. All in all, I guess three stars is a rather fair rating for my experience at this particular post office. read more

This post office is the worst on Jacksonville. Three times I went on Saturday and it's not working out. They said don't have internet. How is possible that when the self service kiosk is working perfectly ????? This is unacceptable, 3 Saturday consecutive with not internet???. Everyone at the counter seems overwhelmed and this place is from what I have observed about two turds short of a total SHIP show. No eye contact from anyone at the counter and some are flat out rude. The line will be out the door and in the lobby and one person helping at the counter. So much for a manager getting on and helping move the people along. Nope, he just comes out and says "you can go to the kiosk in the lobby if your in a hurry", oh heck no to that a soon have seen kiosk people still standing there after I have reached the counter after the 12 people in front of me. If you can avoid this post office, please do so. No sense of any customer service here, I looked everywhere to find some and it apparently took a priority mailer outta there. read more

Everyone in my neighborhood is constantly looking for their mail. Lost 2 packages in 3 days of mine.

They were supposed to have my social security card delivered according to Informed Digest and on that day I got mail from Archer Weston 2 streets over but they dont know where mine was delivered to. So now my social security card could be in anyones hands. Makes you wonder can they read or are they just in it to earn a check and dont care who they harm. This is 5th time I have had this issue with getting everyone elses mail but mine. read more

To give a positive review at and for a PostOffice is unique. Most of the time the Cush job employees I have encountered have been so incredibly rude that the experiences are less than stellar. This place was nothing like that. They attendants were professional and helpful. The facility was clean. They actually take pride in their jobs here. The people who work there are super nice and always very helpful...however the people the hire to deliver the mail are complete garbage. I had one tell me I had to go pick up a package myself because it wouldn't fit in their car. It fit in my sedan, next to a child seat so I'm not sure what Mini Cooper car they're driving that can't fit a box in it. Maybe this isn't the career for you! read more

They don't even deserve one star it is the first of the month they only had one person working at the counter. They had another person that was just doing packages and it was at least 30 people in line waiting to be waited on manager comes out looks around. I asked him why they weren't more people working . He said well we have to take a lunch breaks understood but this time of the month you should always have especially at the lunch hour. When people are taking time off work to go to the post office you should have two people at all times at the windows the one girl working there was working so hard and no one was helping her. The manager was rude and just told me well, lunchtime exactly!!! Lunchtime is everybody's busy time because you're going from .... work to the post office to get their business done. This post office for years has never had enough help but I waited 40 minutes to get something processed today. I'm a senior citizen and It was so hot with so many people stuck in the lobby it was a hazard and there was several with canes there should be a place to sit, The lady that was working, there needs an award or a bonus for working under such a stressful situation she never said a word she smiled and was very polite the entire time you are very lucky to have her as an employee I didn't get her name, but I was there between 12 to 1 o'clock The manager came out and I asked him about the problem. He should be able to run a register or do the post office work just like any employee at that desk if it sees it's backed up it should be HIS job as a manager to clear the line this post office is the worst post office that I've ever been to and I've lived here all my life in this ZIP Code. I don't know if it's a lack of employees or the manager but Busch Drive Jax Fl 32218 is a train wreck every time you go in there. This particular location is really good...The customer service is really good. The employees are super friendly and helpful...They have a lot of PO boxes available...This is a decent sized Post Office... The line can get busy here, especially during the holidays...Most other times there's little to no wait... This is one of the better locations in Jacksonville. read more

I've been dropping off small packages here for a few months now. There is a problem with the train blocking off the road in the mornings sometimes but that's not the post office's fault obviously. Today I went in because I had a large box and there was a lady there helping people learn to use the self service kiosk, she saw my box and immediately helped get it scanned and gave me a receipt. The lines can be a bit slow from what I've seen but they work hard and do what they can. It's a large office for the area and it's kept clean. read more

I have a P.O. Box here and I do most of my bulk mailing from here. When I first arrived in Jax, I given great customer service when it looked like there wasn't anymore P.O. Boxes. She searched the system until she found me one. Its clean and not far from my job. read more

Well it is the USPS. LOL! Have had mixed experiences here over the yrs. Service Level has varied depending on who's working but overall I reckon is ok. 1 lady, Marilyn, is very friendly & helpful. I've even seen her in the neighborhood & she's just that way. Always greets with a smile. Recently they added a self service machine which is good. Was without that service for far too long. I have been coming to this post office for maybe 10 years now. I have pretty much had some really good service with the staff. I mean it is a post office and if you need them they are there if you don't they are still there. When I need to mail stuff this is where I go. It's not like I can go to another one cause there isn't one near by. Then you can add that I really do know this place inside and out. I was on the crew that built this building way back in the mid-80's. I will continue to go here when I need their services. read more

I have only used the Self Serve Kiosk in this post office. Why? I live 25 miles away so if I must mail something on a Saturday or Sunday when the post office is not open this is a wonderful convenience to me. The machine is a real lifesaver! HOWEVER......for some reason the employees do NOT keep the USPS Priority boxes/supplies stocked. Countless times I have been up there and the ONLY boxes available are EXPRESS or FLAT RATE. Well, how nice. Those are the most expensive options. How is a customer supposed to use your SELF SERVE if you don't keep the boxes and envelopes stocked? Having worked for the post office myself, in the past 20 years I know that there are employees there on Saturday and Sunday. Perhaps someone should make damn sure there is a plethora of boxes out there for those of us who use the USPS after hours. read more

I absolutely hate when my packages are sent through usps. This is the closest usps to my house and I never get my packages on time (assuming from this local office). Whats even worse if they lie when updating my tracking saying notes were left on my door when they never were. This most recent case is my package has been delivered in my mailbox at 630pm and when I checked my mail at 830 (tracking still showed out for delivery at this time) there was nothing. They didn't update the tracking until sometime the next day. I still don't have my package and when called they stated it's in the mailbox. Well no it's not. I also will go a couple of days without usps even coming through my neighborhood. I know this because I would be trying to mail stuff out and my mailbox flag will stay raised with the item in my mailbox for several days. The I would appreciate it if usps stopped being such liars and got their crap together. read more
