I technically love the USPS flat rate boxes when sending packages to my family and friends. The fact that this venue helped me pick the right options that made the most sense like shipping times, signage options, size of boxes was a winner for me. The gentleman that helped me even helped me decide to add some packaging peanuts to keep my items more organized by filling in the gaps. I looooved that I was able to get an email from them that gave me my tracking number. It made me more confident and excited to watch the progress of my gifts to my family. Update: I wasn't buying letter stamps, but postcard stamps. The new owner knows that and even admitted charging .79 cents for each .55 cents postcard stamps. 100 stamps cost me $79, while at a post office they would have cost $55. So her profit margin was .24 per stamp, not .6 cents as she claims. Lots of complaints since this new owner took over the business. read more

Do NOT go if you need fingerprinting! not only did it take 30 minutes and the machine kept kicking out my prints due to operator error, but the attendant kept putting information in the wrong areas! Thank goodness I could see the screen and correct her. For example: she was putting my social security number in for my phone number and didn't even think it looked odd. I was sent here by an employer to have my fingerprints done . I used Google Maps to find glad I did cause it was kind of in the middle of nowhere. Not too far past Ikea . There's not a lot of parking it is in a small strip of businesses. There was a coffee shop that I tried out. There was also a hair salon and a few restaurants as well, keeping them tucked in my mind in my list of places to try. I was greeted quickly when I entered, the young lady at the front desk was really nice. Although they were already open the person that does the actual fingerprinting is not there until 11:00 a.m. So since that was the case that was the perfect opportunity to go and try out the coffee shop. I needed a little pick me up to continue me on through the rest of the day. I enjoyed my coffee sat and did a couple of drafts for Yelp. Then proceeded right at 11:00 back to the postal shop. Good thing I did because soon after I arrived there was a line of customers. The young man who did my fingerprints was very polite. Going postal offers digital fingerprinting. This was my first time ever having fingerprints done this way. Which was pretty cool to do and watch. No sticky ink on your fingers. It took less than 10 minutes from start to finish to have my fingerprints done, put into the system and sent over to the employer. They do offer a variety of other services as far as mailing like packages and different letters and such. I did notice that they had small personal mailboxes on the wall as well. If I'm ever in that area and in need of something postal I will definitely check them out again. read more

Never use this place if you want your package delivered. I went there on a Friday to ship a simple key and the person behind the desk said it would be $7 to have it there (in south Florida) by Tuesday and $17 to have it there Saturday by fedex so I went with fedex. Called today Monday at 2pm package is still sitting in there store (it never went out) and of course instead of saying I'm sorry they blamed Fedex for not taking the package when they came in. When I forward it to their email address in the shop, they print it out easy peasy. Making my life so much less stressful than dealing with angry USPS employees. I have had a mailbox here for over a year. The old staff was amazing, they were fast, super helpful and knowledgeable. This new management is terrible. Picking up a package takes forever, the staff doesn't really seem to know what they are doing. The owner is just as lost as everyone else. I have a package that was delivered yesterday and I am still waiting for them to process it in the system so I can go pick it up. I am def considering changing locations because it is painful to have to get my packages now. It's sad because I loved the convenience of this location. read more

My girlfriend needed finger printing. We reserved at the UPS store, who turned out not to have the equipment. We called Goin' Postal and they were helpful in setting up a reservation online. I do not appreciate being lied to. I don't appreciate having my card charged and now I have to wait for a refund because some know-it-all with "17years of experience " not being able to answer my question truthfully. I went in to get fingerprinted. I specifically said that I needed it to not be scanned, that I needed ink to paper. So what does he do? He charged me first and takes me over to a fingerprint scanner. I repeated that I can't have it scanned. That I need it an ink pad to paper. He said don't worry about it, he is going to do it, and it would be ink to paper. So Mr. "17 years experience" prints out the fingerprints. I called my manager and she said it was mot acceptable, so I went in and asked for a refund, and again Mr. "17 years experience" throws around his "experience" about how this was accepted. Then having to hear a lecture and me having to explain myself (again). I literally had to say the words, "Forget technology does exists at all. I need my fingers rowed on a ink pad to paper." I don't care about his experience. I don't care if he is right, or thinks he is right. I repeatedly told him that I could not have it scanned. I don't appreciate my time also being wasted because he thought he knew better and couldn't just flatly told me they don't do that BEFORE I got charged on my card (and now have to wait for a refund to clear). I don't care if he "knew better" and felt that he news to throw his "experience" around. Like that matters when he couldn't answer the questioned asked. A question and a conversation I repeated to him. I called my boss to see if these were acceptable and scanned fingerprints are not. FYI of someone says they need to be fingerprinted and have it not be scanned, direct them to the police station If you go on Google Reviews, you would notice he did respond. This in my response to his comment: First of all, I want everyone to see how petty this man is. My real name has NOTHING to do with the review. Writing my real name has no impact, he did it because he is petty. I even stated how nice you were to another customer, which you took the opportunity to throw in "I try to be. I don't know why people question me. I have been doing this for 17 years." Secondly, are you really going to deny that I *repeatedly* stated that I need it not scanned? That I need it ink to paper? That I did infact say, before you scanned my fingers, it needs to be with an ink pad? Did you not repeatedly said that you will do just that? Your definition to "ink to paper". That you repeatedly MANSPLAINED to me what I NEED. Thirdly, the prints WERE rejected. I think a company who deals with needing fingerprints (NOT SCANNED, BUT OLD SCHOOL before the ability to just scan fingers) for certain Florida licenses every month to bi-monthly would know what is required better than someone who just scans the fingerprints. So they did rejected. I immediately called my job to verify and they say no. You were the one who mentioned I could have refund if they were rejected before my prints were scanned. Fourth, it doesn't matter if I am getting paid for this time. I have a job that require me to do other things besides wasting my time from a guy who mispresented his services. I was giving you credit for knowing what "not scanned" means when were talking in person. Response to response: 1. Nickname on an internet is not lying to you. This make me question you know what you are talking about. 2. They were rejected. You didn't specify if it had to be a government agency. (Also I see that you didn't deny or respond to me repeatedly saying to you that I needed to fingerprinted, but by scanning.) 3. Actually you are wrong again. Got it done at the jail. "Old school" no technology needed. I would call getting it done by actually law officials makes it legitimate. I think this really shows you have no idea what you ate talking about. 4. Whether I get paid or not for my time is irrelevant to this. It was still a waste of time. And it wasn't even your business to ask or to try and lecture me. You are focused on all of the wrong things. Let me help you out. The next time someone says they need fingerprints that are not scanned. You say you only have the scanning method and it gets printed out. For ink pad to paper, go to the police for that type of fingerprinting. Answer the question that was asked. read more

I've never had someone harass me a little review before. I felt it was beyond inappropriate and a bit like I was being Bullied. Heard me good enough to ask me a question the first time. I spent 25 years in a customer service position. 10 of those Working with one of the highest rated customer service stores in the industry. You don't just hang up on people. Shame on the owners of this place. News bulletin: just because you CAN rip people off, doesn't mean you should! This place charges $34.50 for Priority Mail FLAT RATE large box. The Post Office charges $18.30. I get the whole convenience factor, but charging almost double the price? The guy there is honestly the nicest guy. Everytime I come there, he's pleasant. The woman is the WORST. I went there to fax something and she basically told me that she "didn't have time to wait" on me. Completely disregarded me or anything I had to say. Including myself it was only three people in the store, on a Tuesday early afternoon.. so i wasn't sure what the rush was. I'm a business owner and i wanted to rent a mailbox from them but I couldn't even get to address that before she shook the paper in my face and basically told me to have a good day. This business could really go places if the customer service was better. It's convenient, prices are good. But anyone that knows good business knows it's rude and distasteful to disregard someone. A surprisingly unfriendly neighborhood store. This store is only surprisingly friendly if they make money on your shipment. Otherwise they won't take receipt of your package even though online and on the window they say that they are an authorized drop off location for UPS, USPS, FEDEX and DHL. Do yourself a favor and ship elsewhere. Maybe in time Goin' Postal can figure out the successful roots of any business and provide potential customers the services that they claim to. Name of this place made me laugh for years but I finally had a reason to check this place out to shipping. They're REALLY friendly and my package got to its destination just as promised. They sent a conformation/tracking email and also said I can call with any questions. You can't mail USPS here so UPS or FedEx are a little pricier but if you wanna mail ship something UPS or FedEx go here for sure. read more

While I was running an errand a friend dropped off a labeled and sealed flat rate USPS box, which the post office charges $15.05 to process. This store believes in allowing highway robbery as they charged $24.95!!!!! She also purchased a book of stamps which should be $11 - but was charged an additional $.15 per stamp. When I want back to ask for a refund the store owner was looking at picture on a phone with someone - with NO MASKS ON - and proceeded to tell me they are an independent small business and can charge what they want. When I told her that was robbery, she told me that the next time I could stand in line at the post office. She refused to give a refund. You can be sure I will be doing that and do not recommend this store unless you have money to burn in support of a small business which lacks customer service and has an it's all about me attitude. read more

Was quoted a few different shipping options, chose a more expensive FedEx option to get the package to its destination in the time I needed it. Within 12 hours I received an email from FedEx saying it was delayed two days. Not sure how the quoted time was so off, as I wouldn't have paid for faster shipping if I knew it was going to get there two days later. I could have made a one day delay work, but not two. Neither FedEx nor Goin Postal will give any kind of refund for a service they did not deliver on. How does it make sense for someone to pay twice as much to have their package delivered in the same timeframe USPS would have gotten it there? They essentially take your money and tell you "tough luck". It's no wonder why UPS is far superior. read more

Both owners are rude! I have used this service on several occasions. The service is very good; however the two individuals who operate the service are rude and condescending! I'm done! The service here is like going to a family member's house. I had to print and buy manila envelopes and stamps and then fill out the forms I printed. Meanwhile, I watched as the attendant handled the customers with such home-grown kindness and service, I loved the place. The clients seemed like the dropped by often. The prices matched what I usually pay at USPS and the like, but the service here was unmatched :) I cam on a Tuesday around 10am. People would come in, but usually no more than 4 customers in queue at a time, which is a godsend compared to the bigger post offices. The shopping center it is in is very well kept, rolling green lawns and clean brick walls outside. Nice homey coffee house and restaurant a few doors down. Superb shipping services. I've shipped a dozen items over several years here, including overseas, and including items valued more than $1000.00 I have NEVER had a problem. They know what they're doing. They quote you options, help with packing a little. Good communication updates come to your email.
