I should probably give this post office a one star but I'm going to give them three stars because the last few times their self service USPS kiosk actually work. The few times before that though like about five times in a row it didn't work. Also lots of times they don't have the boxes stocked Just a really poor run store. Management take pride in your post office. The windows are always dirty. Also for some reason all the post office is switched out their old self-service kiosks with these new ones and let me tell you what the new ones suck. They are extremely slow, they are extremely slow to touch response, half the time the credit card readers don't work. Just a really bad upgrade if you ask me. I really think they should take a little more pride at this location, keep boxes start, make sure your kiosk are working, And lastly keep the windows clean. Thanks read more

I had to re-mail a certified letter. Danielle did not look up the address it was going to, other Postal workers have done this in the past, it would have saved two-weeks time!!! What a waste of time, what a waste of money! Now I see why this post office is delapitated and neglected, the employees play games and inconvenience the customers. I no longer feel sorry for everyone working here and the conditions that this Post Office is in. I know it's a matter of time before they are shut down. This is the worst post office in Houston. The mail carriers' work ethic shows the type of supervisor they have managing them. I have not been able to constantly get mail to my mailbox for the past 9 years. I recently lost the key to my mailbox and place my mail on hold. Ms. Williams is stating that's not one of the options to place the mail on hold as if she should be worried about the incompetent carriers she have working there. With the blue door closed I overheard Ms. Williams telling the workers she's dealing with a crazy person, as if it's crazy to want your mail at the correct box. Jordan the carrier has the nerve to tell me he has been sending the mail back, how dare he when he can't figure out how to get my mail in the correct box... He has it going to 4 different addresses in my neighborhood. The disrespect. Everybody that works the front has a bad attitude. The only polite people are the women that work the blue door and they spend their day apologizing for the others' poor work ethic. read more

This location gives me and everybody else the blues. The lines are always long, the service is always meh. This very last time that I went, I was in line with my sons for 30 minutes and it was extremely long and daunting. When we finally made it to the counter we were turned all the way back around because I missed a section on the package. The only fair thing was them allowing me to come right back after I completed that section. I don't know if it's the Postal service overall that needs a total revamp but this location for sure does. I was hesitant to post a review, since I don't usually like to leave negative ones but seeing the overall rating and reviews, I know I'm not the only one. Clearly they don't care about their jobs, since they all do bare minimum. It's a nightmare trying to deal with the office staff and with the actual delivery drivers as well. Not only have my phone calls not been answered, but I've been put on hold for over 15 minutes only to be hung up on; then when I call back, I get an extremely short and rude answer and then get hung up on AGAIN! I called them BACK after I saw I missed a call from them. The lady argued with me several times saying that they would have left a message. Pretty sure I know how to use a cell phone and check voicemail, thanks and they didn't. After I explained that several times ( I was being nice) , I tried telling her that they might have been calling regarding missing packages- she cut me off and told me I probably submitted an inquiry, then sighed and said what's your last name. 0 STARS.. For months now my mail keeps being delivered to the wrong address or the wrong mailbox. I'm glad my neighbor brought me one of my packages in the past. My current package has been missing for 10 days now. They continue to tell me it's been delivered to the mailbox and the location they try to say where it's at is two blocks away from my actual mailbox. They continue to tell me that "your the same person that we continue to leave notes in your mailbox asking for the key"... The thing is I never got the key and I never got a note. If I did I wouldn't be calling looking for my package. Every day the tell me to call back tomorrow.... Your not supposed to accuse the customer for the mistakes y'all continue to make. The Walters Road location is the Absolute WORSE place to do & get any service. The whole staff is rude & completely have a " I don't care attitude". And this has been going on for the past 27 years I have been here in Houston. The Blue door is a complete JOKE, ALL THE TIME!! They simply DON'T CARE. I recently had a change of address to a different area code, right next to their: 77066 to 77070. Move into an apartment from a home & filled out the change of address card & personally gave it to my carrier. I did start getting my mail forward, however there were some birthday cards that did not arrive & was notified by friends who's letters were marked RETURNED: NO ADDRESS!! Gave the carrier my change of address the 1st of May when i MOVED. Birthday was end of May. A friend of mine had notified me he sent a package with the old address mid June & gave me the tracker #, which was valid. However once it got to the Walters Road locate everything Stopped. I notified my new Willowchase location & spoke with my apartment carrier who took all my information; ie new/old address, phone #, email address & tracker#. She did follow thru & gave me a return update phone call, but said I needed to check with Walters Road cause that was the last place it scanned. UGH!! So went over this afternoon, again with all my hand written information & was told to go to the BLUE door (ICK). I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to answer. Politely explained the situation to the young lady about my problem. She left & came back 15 minutes later, handed me back my information & told me it wasn't there. At that point I asked to speak with a supervisor. 25 minutes later, after holding down the white service button, another older lady answered & was absolutely NO HELP!! Said it was probably at the service center & there was nothing she could do. The last scan was at their location on June 29th, Package was mailed mid June. Today's DATE is July 19th. NO HELP NO CLUE. The woman in front of me in line had a stutter and he was raising his voice at her to answer his question. He was absolutely so rude to me and made me feel like the issue I am having was the dumbest thing he ever heard. Oh my. Three stars? I must be hallucinating. Actually, out of sheer disgust with the parking, attitude and service rendered from the Klein Branch of the USPS, I was absolutely desperate for an alternative. Sometimes the USPS is your only option (particularly if you're selling items on ebay) and it gets mighty frustrating to repeatedly have packages lost, arrive extraordinarily late or disappear mysteriously during tracking. The Cornerstone Branch of the USPS is not far from home, so we decided to give them a shot. At least this location seems to be able to keep track of items, get them to their destination in a reasonable amount of time and have a parking lot that doesn't always contain drivers with blinders pretending it's a bumper-car course. And the employees were actually (OMG) . . . pleasant! My only fear is that employees from the Klein Branch will want to transfer here because it is quieter and seems to be less busy. Oy vey! I'm extremely unhappy with this location. My package was marked delivered; however I never received it. I've been back and forth with them in addition to filling a claim. My claim was denied because they stand behind a machine scan that indicates my package was delivered. I'm appalled by their actions and hope that whoever is responsible for stealing packages is caught one day and charged as mail theft and tampering is a federal crime. read more

DO NOT MAIL FROM THIS LOCATION, inside the lobby. I have mailed about 20 items at different times from this location over the past month. NOTHING has been delivered, my only conclusion is FRAUD as it seems they are not shipping the mail out of this location? I wish Amazon would start delivering mail. My package says delivered. Never received the package. I tried calling right when they opened I was put on hold Immediately for 30 plus minutes. No one ever came back to answer the phone. I called over and over for the next two hours nothing. Whoever is in charge of this place needs to be retrained or fired. So I've lived in this area over 18yrs. This location your almost always Guaranteed to be in a LINE 15+ minutes. The personnel are not very personable! Maybe one! Most times they are trying to Upsell and ask you 20 questions and thats what leads to the long lines. Your better of using the Kiosk! Take a credit card and Pray its not outta service. I just got a new house in the area and have been trying to get my mailbox keys for 3 weeks. I came in a few times and some of the employees just kept telling me to come back later. I came in a few days ago and an employee named Winston did his absolute best to get me my keys and my mail. He made phone calls, tracked down the UPS driver and was able to get my key and my mail within 30 minutes while other employees were clueless. If I could do this without giving it any stars I would. I recently moved and did my change of address like you normally would. I had to pay to get a mailbox key from the post office which is fine but it wasn't until after doing so was I told our mailbox was vandalized and would need to pick up my mail from the blue door. Well, what a nightmare that blue door is. The girl behind it will continue to give you the run around as she has no clue what is going on. Why should I have to leave my number to talk to my mail carrier directly. It's so unprofessional and just a plain nightmare. I know for a fact my mail is getting sent back to the sender and still a month later I have no mail to pick up. So she has no idea what is going on. Since I have moved to Texas, The mail man at my apartment has lost a total of 3 pieces of mail. 1st package is completely lost never got that, the second one was delivered a week ago the tracking said and guess what I got it today. 3rd piece of mail said it was delivered never got it. OH LORD!!! Where do I start? They have delivered my mail to my neighbor's house all the time for the last 14 yrs no matter how much I complain. We are used to exchanging our mail. The worst of all is that in the last 4 days I have lost 4 packages!!! That is 4 too many. I put a complaint with the post office, the 1-800 USPS number but nothing changes this place. I wish I lived somewhere else so I don't have to deal with this post office and lazy mail carriers who just do everything so careless, mix up mail and deliver our stuff to other houses. $ lost on all 4 packages. I paid for a new mailbox key after losing mine over a month ago and they still haven't replaced it. To make it worse, they are supposed to hold your mail until the new one is made (or else you'd never get your mail) at the post office, but when I came in they told me they had nothing for me. I had to wait at the mailbox one day and catch the mail man only to find out that he had still been putting my mail in the box. Service at this location is sub par. Employees here are rude and if you need to deal with the customer pick up window, be ready to wait for an hour at least. They ignore bells ringing and they are almost always rude. They act as if they are doing you a favor when you are paying for service. It's a shame how the largest entity in the USA operates. read more
