When I asked them to enter the correct weight on a shipping label, they argued and claimed it wasn't necessary -- which is simply not true. Customers should be aware: shipping companies charge based on both actual and dimensional weight. If your package is even slightly over the stated size or weight, you can be hit with extra charges -- and worse, your shipment may not be properly insured. If something happens during transit, you're out of luck. It's unacceptable for a shipping store to refuse to enter accurate information on a label. UPS already has a reputation for overcharging, and this location makes it even worse. We need a new UPS Store & more than one because this one is unethical & unprofessional. If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid this store if you can -- Longview deserves better.

I've had mail shown delivered at my mailbox nowhere to be found. Today, I went up to the post office and attempted to speak with the postmaster. I was again missing mail, two packages. After being told she wouldn't see me , I told them I'm not leaving until I speak with her. The postmaster, Daphne Moore, came out from the back of the office, my packages already in her hands, which showed delivered to my address in their system from yesterday. She immediately met me with an attitude and refused to address my concerns. Offered no help, no apology, or anything. Just a simple search of her name on FB shows that I'm not the only person that has had issues with this postmaster. I'm not the only one on my street that has been having issues with mail delivery either. Several times we have gone days without anyone on my street receiving mail. I've already filed complaints regarding the postmaster's behavior and the carrier's inability to deliver mail. I'm sure it's to no avail. Another governmental employee that collects a salary with no accountability. There are good people up at the post office. This isn't directed at you, but after interacting with this woman, I'm sure she isn't much of a supervisor either.

I've been in there a few times, but this most recent time was the nail in the coffin. I went into…read morethe post office in order to pick up a package and was not treated in a manner that I consider appropriate or justifiable. Upon getting to the front of the line and getting called on to come over to desk, the woman working behind the counter just seemed burdened. She made eye contact with maybe once or twice. She was rapidly tapping a pen on the counter in a manner that definitely made me feel like I needed to hurry up. When I asked if she could go check for the package, she loudly sighed but she went. I'm not even sure if she honestly looked. There were many other little mannerisms that she did that were bothersome. The service that she provided was AWFUL. I left the post office pretty ticked off. The only reason this received one star is because Yelp won't allow you to give it zero stars. It only reaffirmed why UPS is better.
