She gave me nasty looks and tone and I told her "It's okay, I'll go somewhere else." She began to raise her voice and tell me "I don't like it when people act like I have to do something for them". I responded calmly, "Maam, I said may I please, You can say no". Nor did I ask her to tape the label for me. She continued to raise her voice and say "Well am I getting it for you?" And at that point it wasn't worth interacting with her anymore. As a small business and USPS shipper for 15 years, she could not provide nor respectfully decline my kindly asking for two strips of tape. Kindness isn't that difficult.
