Went to Clinton PO to see if a package was there. Wow! The clerk that "helped" me was rude and condescending right from the start. Unwilling to help, take a look, make a suggestion but had the energy to roll her eyes and be nasty. I like others will go out of my way to void this PO as I do not need to spoil my day with the bad attitude of others. No option to rate zero stars but that would have been my choice. read more

I was baffled and apalled at the way I was treated today. My printer at home was broken, so I was unable to print my own label. I walked into the office with the address and package ready to go, but the women told me she can't make me a label. I said "okay no problem" and left. Thankfully I was able to print the label to an office printer in town. I reentered the post office 5 minutes later and told her "I got it printed, may I please use the tape? She rolled her eyes and told me "We don't supply the packing materials as show slowly turned around and sauntered to the tape. I told her "I understand, I've been shipping for 15 years." She gave me nasty looks and tone and I told her "It's okay, I'll go somewhere else." She began to raise her voice and tell me "I don't like it when people act like I have to do something for them". I responded calmly, "Maam, I said may I please, You can say no". Nor did I ask her to tape the label for me. She continued to raise her voice and say "Well am I getting it for you?" And at that point it wasn't worth interacting with her anymore. As a small business and USPS shipper for 15 years, she could not provide nor respectfully decline my kindly asking for two strips of tape. Kindness isn't that difficult. read more

Why oh why . Amazon quit using Clinton post office. Yesterday I had to take a knife and cut out my Amazon boxes from my postal unit. But they make sure every crap piece of junk mail is crammed as well. All because they wont deliver to your door. Twice Amazon told me products were delivered and they were not, they were delivered the next day .quit lying. This has been such a problem I've tried to order in bulk (catfood) so that in hopes ups.will deliver. Please do your job . read more

I used the USPS website to schedule a passport application for our newborn. I had to reschedule and I must have made an error because when I arrived we were not listed and I realized I never received a confirmation for the new appointment. That's all on me but the woman at the desk was the rudest person I've interacted with in recent memory. When we arrived and filled out paperwork she very snidely told us we were not on the passport schedule. She acted as though she was personally offended when I asked whether we would still be able to submit an application. Getting any information was like pulling teeth and all we got were short, sharp replies. When I asked if we could schedule a same day appointment on the website she curtly told us to go online, only to find out that we could not. I'm sure she knew full well that we could not. At this point, she had left the customer service desk and we could overhear her complaining to her colleagues in the back. There was nobody at the desk and we were unable to ask any more questions. read more

I do everything I can to avoid the Clinton post office which means I always drive out of my way to go to another one. In 12 years I have never had one good experience. Forget the people being nice, they haven't even been luke warm... one woman in particular is consistently rude. It's a shame. I try to support the usps but it's hard when you go someplace where don't feel comfortable going to. read more

I had a great experience at the Clinton Post Office! The Postmaster Darrin was extremely personable and very helpful at the window. The other workers were very helpful and are knowledgeable about their jobs. I would highly recommend for everyone to go to this post office if you want great customer service! read more

When you are dealing with a US Post Office, there are countless ways this thing can go wrong - completely outdated technology and interior, terrifyingly unfriendly service with a growl, overt messiness and last but not least, potential craziness. However, this particular small branch in Clinton, NJ is much of what is right or supposed to be right with USPS. Completely friendly, neat and totally functional - service with a smile. All the envelopes and forms you need are readily available and when you need something, they will answer and help - a bit shocking on the scale of USPS locations around the US. read more

This Post Office is great..The new Postmaster is awesome and I have seen a significant change over the last year..

Always friendly. Have used most services from passport to priority mail. Never an issue. The line can be long.

I wish the whole USPS worked like this office. Super efficient, polite, knowledgeable people, easy to get in and out.
