Customer service was pretty formal. Very clean inside the main building. Nice bathrooms, couches to sit on and tv. Cold drinks to buy. As for the lanes... Definitely wish the steel challenge area had some type of shade. I'm so glad we had sunscreen or we would have totally burned! Also heads up.... LOTS of wasps and bee's and I mean a lot! Like flying by and just hitting you in the face all the time, which is pretty distracting when shooting a gun. Not sure there's anything they can do to help control that issue (?) Because it's the outdoors. Overall nice experience except the prices were high. We most likely will not be returning due to that. We all brought our own guns, ammo, ear coverage and safety glasses. We didn't need any rentals or gear. So for 3 people just to rent 1 lane it was $130.00. That's a lot. read more

Great place to have a fun day of plinking! Is a bit hot in the summer months. Defiantly bring some chairs and a cooler of water. Great service and very nice gun areas depending on what your shooting. Also a good 300 yard range. read more

The guys here are incredibly knowledgeable on weapons. They treat you like family every time you come out to shoot. I've been here several times and as a woman, they make me feel welcomed and I leave here feeling more comfortable shooting a gun. read more

I would never to suggest anyone to go this range. I had the worst experience I've ever had at a range here today. The "Range Master" who we were told was the owners son was absolutely ridiculous! This guy physically assaulted a friend of mine and then kicked him out. When I saw what was going on I ran over there and started to video the altercation. This guy is extremely lucky my friend kept his cool and didn't give him what he deserved. He escorted my friend to his truck to make sure he was leaving and I followed to make sure nothing else happened. When I got back over to where this took place and another witness started to tell me something, this guys tells me, "get the F off my property, you got your video now get the F out of here." I don't care if you are the owner, the owners son or just an employee, this is absolutely not the way anyone should ever act anywhere, much less a gun range. This guy has a serious anger problem and shouldn't be anywhere near firearms. If he gets hurt acting like this to someone, that's on him but I am posting this to warn others as I can see how it could be a much worse outcome. To add a little humor to this, when I was heading out, my friend was already talking to a deputy at the main road. I stopped my car and walked up to the deputy and my large 6'6" friend right as the deputy was filling out the report and ask my friend if he was a "male". Seriously though, I would absolutely NEVER go to this range because nobody with anger issues like that should ever be near firearms and who knows what he will do next time. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Beware anyone who wants to visit this place. Completely unprofessional. I was at the range the weekend of May 4th. - what an unprofessional range master. Got to witness an incident where he physically put his hands on a participant for saying goodbye to a fellow shooter. (He was being kicked off the range for something). That wasn't the half of it he spent the whole day yelling and screaming (not speaking loud) at spectators over seemingly innocent actions of watching the match. While threatening to "kick you off my range." The last straw was him yelling bloody murder at a little girl because her chair leg was 2inches off the grass. Be warned very unprofessional and hot headed. Who lets this type of person be the range master? read more

New management has done a great job fixing the place up. I went to shoot some 50yd bench rest only to find out that the bay was actually 56yds. Not a big deal unless your like me practicing for a shooting match. You used to be able to move the targets and I would bring a 165' tape measure with me and set it properly, well no longer. The target holders are now fixed in their location and management does not care about helping you adjust it. 2 Stars for the facility but management is very poor and that affects the experience. Been out to USSA twice now, both times in classes by Five-0 Tactical. Overall impression of the range is that it's well laid out, and the fact that you get your own bay for practice is a HUGE plus. I've been to my share of ranges where you're on a line, and some knucklehead next to you is popping brass in your lane like it's a hailstorm. If it was possible to give a negative number for the employees that supposedly work at this Range the number I would give is a -100!! I came to the Shooting Sport late in life, however, I have worked with people in the Business World for over 60+ years. This past Saturday, May 4, 2024 I witnessed an event at this Range by the self-proclaimed rangemaster, that I hope I never see again at any Range. When asked what his name is, he was either ashamed to give it, or, in his state of anger he forgot it, whatever the reason, this person would not give anyone his name. What happened: As I parked my Truck in the Main Parking Lot, I got out of the Truck and was at the tailgate when the MD was driving by in his ATV and being followed by another ATV that was almost bumper to bumper with his. The MD stopped to tell me he was, "Kicked Off the Range!" Before he could even get the word OFF out, the person in the following ATV was YELLING at the MD to: GET OFF MY RANGE, DO NOT STOP!! I later came to find out this was the person who was ashamed to tell anyone his name, other than saying he was the rangemaster. I went to where we were to have Lunch and our Awards Ceremony. After I ate, I remembered that I promised to show someone a pair of Copper Fit Glove I wear when I shoot because of stiffness and arthritis in my hands,.This person was having some of the same issues with their hands and was interested in seeing the Gloves. So, I walked back to my Truck to get the Gloves when I witnessed close to the WORSE CASE scenario that could happen at a Gun Range. From the time it took me to eat Lunch and walk back to my Truck, the MD had put his ATV on a Trailer, hooked it up to his Truck and was stopped in the Main Parking Lot where he was in his Truck and was talking to a competitor who was standing at his driver side door. This is when the self identified range master had grabbed the competitor and was yelling at him and the MD. The Competitor told the angered rangemaster to take his hands off of him and to keep them off. The range master got up in the face of the competitor continued to yell at him to get off of HIS RANGE! The competitor asked him why, what did he do? All the range master would do was to yell back at him: GET OFF OF MY RANGE, GET OFF OF MY RANGE, GET OFF OF MY RANGE. When asked for his name he just said, I AM THE RANGE MASTER, GET OFF MY RANGE. I was going to get my Cell Phone to record what was going on, when I saw someone else recording, and he acknowledged that he in FACT was recording this confrontation. There was a person who was backing up the self described range master, this person was completely dressed in tactical green clothing, carrying a Pistol in a Holster, that may have been loaded, it did look like there was a magazine in the pistol, I did see the end plate of a magazine. He also was wearing communication gear. After some time had past, this person dressed in green finally said a few words; Let's try to deescalate the situation. Or, something very close to those words, to no relief. When the Competitor started to walk away, I believe to his vehicle, the self described range master followed him, like one step behind him. At this point, I want to inject a personal point Of view. The Competitor who was being harassed by the range master showed an amazing amount of restraint and even temper all the while he was being verbally abused and yelled at by the self described range master. The range master return to where I was and told one of the other competitors that was observing and filming this EVENT, that he got his video, NOW GET THE FUCK OFF OF MY RANGE. Those were the range masters words. By this time the person dressed in green tactical clothing was back in an ATV he drove by me, I stopped him, he told he would be right back. He drove by me again not going to stop, when I got in front of him so he would stop. I had one question for him; What is the range master's name? His answer, I am not going to divulge that information to you. I asked, why not, it is only a name and if he is in fact the range master you should be able to tell me his name!! He repeat; I AM NOT GOING TO DIVULGE THAT INFORMATION TO YOU!! He then drove off!! I have been to this Range every year from when it was first opened, it was a wonderful facility for the Shooting Sports. It was a very welcoming place. Now, the new ownership has some very serious issues with the people they hire. Please read others reviews of this Range, it is by no means the Range that opened in 2006. As I stated above, my business experience is working with Customers, if anyone who worked for me treated a Customer as the self described range master treated these Competitors they would have been FIRED IMMEDIATELY and would never get a recommendation to be hired anywhere!! I hope the owner of the range sees fit to fire this person for the way he treated and tried to intimidate people into a confrontation. read more

Nowhere have I seen such incompetence and mis-management take place, as I've witnessed at USSA. Over the course of just this year, I lost count of how many times my shooting friends and I were treated like an ignorant child by the RSO's because of the latest "rule change" they implemented that month. We all were members of this range, but that didn't matter. The final straw recently was us simply asking the RSO to clarify rules about shooting paper targets after he zoomed over to our shooting bay (which we waited over an hour to open up). That particular RSO seemed a bit "green" and after we calmly and patiently asked multiple times to clarify our questions, he just drove off. We were doing nothing different than we'd been doing for the previous 11 months of this year (shooting there at least once to twice per month). Minutes later the power-tripping guy who sits behind the counter comes flying up on his four wheeler and begins berating us and telling everyone "we were no longer welcome here" and to "pack up and leave the premises immediately". Our experience with USSA consisted of terrible customer service, terrible management, and an overall terrible experience. DO NOT give this business your money. I and many others now make sure and tell every single gun owner/enthusiast/shooter who we know, to avoid this place at all costs. At this point, we wouldn't come back to USSA if it was 100% free. Give your hard earned money to another business. read more

Well between the increase of fuddish management and general restrictions of anyone who actually wants to improve their skills, this place has deteriorated at an exponential rate. They now decided that they no longer want to host USPSA matches or any matches of similar nature. Not to mention their drastic increase in membership prices. for example, not only is their lowest membership of $200 only good for 10 visits, they have proportionally insulting member "benefits" for their $400, $650, $900 and $1250 membership fees. They also are not good for a full year. None of them. So if you decide to but a $1200 membership in June (god knows why you would in the first place), it's only good until new years eve, assuming they're even open. This place has gone downhill so fast and I will be very surprised if they don't go out of business very quickly read more

I was at US Shooting academy recently with a group of friends & the range officer came through the range we rented in a golf cart straight for us at 20 miles an hour screaming at us in a hysterical rage, I talked to the manager about it & apparently we weren't doing anything wrong, we were training in the agreed upon fashion but he didn't care that the range officer didn't bother to check with him or about the screaming, apparently he doesn't care about paying customers return business, this was very UNPROFESSIONAL behavior & unacceptable behavior, I will never go back to this business again !! there are much better ranges close by. read more

Best range in Tulsa area! Ran by excellent people that really care about the 2nd amendment and teaching people to safely and properly handle firearms. Many ranges are unpleasant, cooped up indoor ranges or require a membership. These guys are open to the public, family friendly- all ages, provide a safe atmosphere without being unpleasant or overbearing. shooting Outdoors has always been my preferred venue. Ussa has multiple bays including pistol, 50-100yrd and even a 300 yrd as long as you qualify on the 100 First. Day pass is $20 as of 11/09/21 And a membership gives you free entry. If you see Something you don't like or need assistance just let them know, they are happy to help. They host lots of events and teach multiple classes. Very glad to have them in Tulsa read more

My wife & I joined this week and we LOVE it. We've gone twice this week. We've been members at ranges in Vegas, Grand Rapids, & Tulsa, and this one is the best. Maybe the fact that the owner is a woman is why they treat women so respectfully. My wife loves it and so do I. The metal plates to shoot, the classes you can take, and the fact that Chris helped me fix a jamming problem with my pistol for free shows these people are great. The previous owners took care of the range. The range targets most are broke the person in the front lidge is rude. The range has continually declined over the last couple years. From now on i will go to Tulsa gun club or Happy Hollow. The range was suppose 9am the guy did not open till about 10am. read more
