I ended up with no foam board insulation, and a trench in my crawlspace that I specifically said NO to. It was a new sales guy and his supervisor had to leave to go get his kids, and left him to finish up on his own (1st sale) and something got messed up somewhere.... They now want me to pay for the foam board extra, with a small discoiunt they said!!!! . Take your trench back and give me my insulation and call it good! Shady company that will not make THEIR mistakes right. One supervisor was extremely rude on site, The crew (Evan I believe and 2 others) doing the actual job were nice and did good work for what they were told to do, but even they were mad when they discovered they installed things we didnt ask for and had to correct other mistakes made by the salesman. (insulation not being removed prior or not having the correct measurments for what they needed, etc) I had 2 neighbors on my street want their crawlspaces encapped and was ready to refer this company if they would have made good for their mistakes. I referred a differnet company to them, they were happy and the work was great for the price with the other company (lost 2 sales there AFS!!!!) , I wish I had chosen different and will never use this company again and make sure I tell everyone on every platform and inform folks not to make this mistake. Im extremely upset and feel wronged and taken advantage of. Several people with the company told me that they would fix it, but no one wanted to cop to anything, and I was told in th ebeginning that it would come out of someone commission. Im guessing they are protecting their paychecks and not their customers. My daughter runs a company that could use a good crawlspace company to refer to her 1000+ customers. Guess what? I sought out all of the foundation companies in Nashville who all offered very costly solutions to mitigate the movement but not to actually fix the problem. Jay was the only one to offer a solution that seemed radical, but with his experience and skill of his crew pulled it off quite well. The foundation was broken in several places, the blocks holding the house up were broken and cracked and leaning. Jay's solution was to lift the house, tear out the blocks and foundation, pour a new one and lay new block. That is what they did and sit the house back down. This house has plaster walls and ceilings. I expected more cracks than were already there but it didn't happen. I was a very satisfied customer and would recommend WFS to anyone looking for a permanent solution to foundation issues.

The work that was done recently was 100% better than the first time. We were informed that they had had issues with the crew who did the work the first time and were dealt with. They fixed the work free of charge and the crew that was here did a good job and was very nice throughout the process. The last contractor out here did not know there were 3 different tasks to the project: make a door, seal the vents, set up the dehumidifier with proper condensate drainage. So, my dehumidifier has never functioned, and the humidity under my house has doubled. The general manager, Mark, has not prioritized resolving the issue and has avoided direct communication, leaving the office staff to handle my concerns. Despite speaking with five different people, I have yet to witness a proactive or viable solution. I strongly recommend future customers seek service elsewhere. I began the journey of talking with several crawlspace repair companies and was most impressed with United Structural Systems of Tennessee. Chad came out promptly and crawled all around my crawlspace, took pictures, and then drew the area. He explained completely what needed to be done and came up with a plan. His communications and attentiveness really impressed me because he listened to my concerns. I scheduled the work to be done and the girls in the office communicated both email and text when to expect the workers. Detarius (foreman) and Noah (crew chief) came out started the installation of poured concrete piers and industrial jacks to level the flooring. It took a few days, but I could already tell a difference in the way the floor felt. They also informed me that I had standing water in my crawlspace. The positive drain had failed. Evan (project foreman) came and began fixing the cracks in the concrete by drilling holes and filling the voids with PolyLift material. He even fixed the cracks in the mortar between the bricks going up the wall. You can't even tell there was ever a crack! Matt, Sammy, & Robert came out to do the arduous task of installing a new positive drain system and tie it into the existing drainage system. I am so pleased with everyones professionalism, communication, and work ethic. I highly recommend USS of Tennessee!

They delivered an above and beyond service; and even worked through some day of concerns that led to slight plan adjustments without additional cost to me. I feel confident this work will fix the issues we were having and will try to remember to update this review in about 6 months accordingly. My only "critique" is the long lead time from estimate approval to actual on-site work. But I can't fault them for having great recommendations and staying booked so far out.
