Not only did we need an old patio and sidewalk replaced, we had a down hill drainage concern. Los Pumas responded within 24 hours, Lino inspected our site and gave us a plan. First day Omar and is carpenter crew worked long hours getting ready for the 2nd day concrete crew. Juan and the concrete crew knew how to work the concrete quickly and clean up. Two days and done. Neighbors couldn't believe it. Landscaping crew followed with extra cleanup and grass seed. The job was good the price was fair. They know how to do the work and have the equipment to do it.

Could not be any happier with how our little project looks. Lino and his crew were in and out within a few days. Lino was very accommodating and listened to what my needs were and executed to a T. Our simple project of widening our small driveway so we could accommodate 3 cars came out great. Thanks again Lino!

After - New wall with proper water drainage

Los Pumas did an excellent job building a retaining wall and pouring a long concrete driveway at our home. We can't say enough about how professional, skilled and fast they were getting this job done. They worked extremely hard. It looks great. We highly recommend Los Pumas!

We had a basic foundation sag creating a stair step crack in the brick and a hard to open window…read more The very issue that every video, commercial and brochure used by AFS claims to be able to correct. Met with Sean Sellers of AFS on Saturday. Nice man. He explained the process. Stated while there were no guarantees, he was "92%" sure AFS could raise the foundation and close the gap. Sean explained: The crew would place boards down to protect the driveway from the mini excavator to be used. Any damage to the sprinkler system would be repaired. "The crew carries connectors on the trucks". Outside lighting would be repaired and replaced. Any aggregate driveway damage would be repaired The process would required "2X2" holes at each of the pillar locations. The workers did not put wood down to protect the driveway. Damage. The sprinkler system was cut in multiple places, they lost the heads and said they didn't have the equipment nor expertise to repair the damage. Same response for the outside lighting. 2 foot square holes turned into 3' x 10' trenches which they poorly filled back in and damaged parts of the yard they didn't even have to go to. The driveway is obviously load bearing but they are unable to replace the damage areas appropriately. Their response, "I didn't know that was the expectation" And to top it off, the site crew stated they believed their job was to "stablized" the house, not lift it, which was the whole point of undertaking the project to start with. We proceeded on Sean's word that the settlement would be corrected and the cracks closed just like the video he showed us prior to signing the contract. The agreement stated AFS was not responsible for damages to hidden utilities but "Utilities protection will cover repairs to private utilities damaged during installation (cable, sprinklers, private water lines, private electric lines etc). Repairs limited to damaged area and do not include full line replacement." To be fair, Sean did offer to cover the cost of sod. Consider carefully before engaging AFS. Read the contract word for word. Take nothing for granted nor anyone at their word. I would not recommend AFS to anyone

Firstly, what stood out to us most was the fact that not only was Jonathan the one that came up with the landscape design, but he was also the one to do the entire install- from start to finish. That meant a great deal to us. Especially for the fact that Jonathan gave us plenty of advice as to how to care for each individual tree and plant. Secondly, Jonathan is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. Once he had dropped off all the plants and trees- he was very methodical as to where he was going to place each item. It was easy to tell that he's a perfectionist and is truly passionate about his work. Also, Jonathan is very efficient and communication throughout was stellar. He showed up every day and got a lot of work done. He's just a really good, hardworking guy. By far- this has been the best landscaping experience and we are over the moon as to how beautiful our backyard looks now. Highly, Highly recommend using Jonathan for all your landscape needs. P.S.- Our next door neighbors also used George's services as they are having additional work done and they are beyond happy with his work as well!

It includes an outdoor kitchen with concrete countertops and high end appliances; a pergola with retractable canopies and built-in gas heaters and fire table; a large stone patio for al fresco dining and all landscaping and lighting. George was our "one- stop- shop" as our landscape designer and GC for hardscaping. He pulled together a quality team for the structure, stonework and utilities. He was communicative, creative, knowledgeable, and professional every step of the way and turned my vision into a reality. His son, Jonathan, executed on the landscaping installation with meticulous care. I would highly recommend Allin Landscaping for landscape design and outdoor living spaces.

I don't know how the other positive reviews came about, because our experience with HMC Contracting…read morewas pretty bad. We had our enclosed patio redone... It took forever, and once we were in the process I couldn't wait till it was over. It felt like the Three Stooges were sent to do the work. The painting had to be redone several times -- their "team" clearly had no idea what they were doing. We had to have them rebuild the door at least twice, because the quality was truly subpar. Six months later, the door is already showing age (see photo). They were careless with the space (inside the patio, and in the surrounding garden). They never cleaned up after themselves. I had to entirely cut back one of the plants behind the patio because it was so badly broken. I'd find nails and debris around outside that I would have to throw away; they brought plastic, but barely covered our patio furniture (so I did that myself); and they broke one of our side tables. Attention to detail was absent -- I've attached photos of just SOME of the trim corners that do not match up -- there are gaps instead. Chad and his son Adam were nice enough, but we were paying for something that should've looked excellent in the end. It looks OKAY (if you don't really look at the details), and it was no fun getting there. I would absolutely suggest using a different contractor.
