He made a…read moresite visit for a reasonably small job to make sure he understood what we needed and could give us a good assessment. His bid was very fair, and his follow-up was professional. It took me a little while to finally give him the approval to start. But he responded very quickly when we did approve, and he completed the work well beyond my expectations. He even found some cost savings for us while on-site by reusing some of the existing brick. Once we get the new brick work painted, it will be back to new. Highly recommend K&M Masonry. Don't use this company or make sure you read your contract before you sign anything. They said we…read morewere getting foam inulation, 120 ply poly, dehumdifer, sump pump, and mold removal. I ended up with no foam board insulation, and a trench in my crawlspace that I specifically said NO to. It was a new sales guy and his supervisor had to leave to go get his kids, and left him to finish up on his own (1st sale) and something got messed up somewhere.... They now want me to pay for the foam board extra, with a small discoiunt they said!!!! . Take your trench back and give me my insulation and call it good! Shady company that will not make THEIR mistakes right. One supervisor was extremely rude on site, The crew (Evan I believe and 2 others) doing the actual job were nice and did good work for what they were told to do, but even they were mad when they discovered they installed things we didnt ask for and had to correct other mistakes made by the salesman. (insulation not being removed prior or not having the correct measurments for what they needed, etc) I had 2 neighbors on my street want their crawlspaces encapped and was ready to refer this company if they would have made good for their mistakes. I referred a differnet company to them, they were happy and the work was great for the price with the other company (lost 2 sales there AFS!!!!) , I wish I had chosen different and will never use this company again and make sure I tell everyone on every platform and inform folks not to make this mistake. Im extremely upset and feel wronged and taken advantage of. Several people with the company told me that they would fix it, but no one wanted to cop to anything, and I was told in th ebeginning that it would come out of someone commission. Im guessing they are protecting their paychecks and not their customers. My daughter runs a company that could use a good crawlspace company to refer to her 1000+ customers. Guess what? They will loose out on more business than just my neighbors.... There are alot of other details and wrongs but those are the major ones!

Firstly, what stood out to us most was the fact that not only was Jonathan the one that came up with the landscape design, but he was also the one to do the entire install- from start to finish. That meant a great deal to us. Especially for the fact that Jonathan gave us plenty of advice as to how to care for each individual tree and plant. Secondly, Jonathan is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. Once he had dropped off all the plants and trees- he was very methodical as to where he was going to place each item. It was easy to tell that he's a perfectionist and is truly passionate about his work. Also, Jonathan is very efficient and communication throughout was stellar. He showed up every day and got a lot of work done. He's just a really good, hardworking guy. I don't know how the other positive reviews came about, because our experience with HMC Contracting…read morewas pretty bad. We had our enclosed patio redone... It took forever, and once we were in the process I couldn't wait till it was over. It felt like the Three Stooges were sent to do the work. The painting had to be redone several times -- their "team" clearly had no idea what they were doing. We had to have them rebuild the door at least twice, because the quality was truly subpar. Six months later, the door is already showing age (see photo). They were careless with the space (inside the patio, and in the surrounding garden). They never cleaned up after themselves. I had to entirely cut back one of the plants behind the patio because it was so badly broken. I'd find nails and debris around outside that I would have to throw away; they brought plastic, but barely covered our patio furniture (so I did that myself); and they broke one of our side tables. Attention to detail was absent -- I've attached photos of just SOME of the trim corners that do not match up -- there are gaps instead. Chad and his son Adam were nice enough, but we were paying for something that should've looked excellent in the end. It looks OKAY (if you don't really look at the details), and it was no fun getting there. I would absolutely suggest using a different contractor.
