Thank you Carolyn for pointing out the discontinued low priced fabrics that I would find in their next door warehouse and the discounted remnants in the basement. You'll find a plethora of hanging fabric samples organized by color and/or manufacturer. They seem competitively priced with online fabric stores, but here you get to see the fabric up close, and touch and feel. If it's in stock you eliminate shipping cost. Today, I was fortunate to find a fabric I had been contemplating ordering. They had it in stock at a competitive price. I purchased several yards, and I avoided shipping expense! Score!

My second order came incomplete and once again I called, the girl could not find my order and said that she would call me back. Nothing!! They didn't mess up once, but twice. I am done! I have told my colleges to never buy from this place again. Is not worth the headache. There is no respect for other peoples business and money. located in the teeny downtown of Eclectic, AL it's a must see if you love fabric like i do. be…read moreprepared to dig and climb over stuff. the inside is like walking into a hoarders house and from what my friend tells me (she's in her early 60s) the place has been that way for years. there are stacks (some almost to the ceiling) of fabric everywhere with just enough space for a walking path. if you are looking for fabric from new designers this is not the place to go; most if vintage to possibly 90's. the building itself is 2 stories but there are only 3 rooms you can actually walk around...i'm afraid to ask what's upstairs because i doubt you could even get to it! i went for the first time yesterday and was in complete shock at the disarray of it all but the prices were good and i do love vintage fabrics. staff, a father and son, are sweet and like to chat. don't be surprised when he pulls out a yard stick and cuts fabric while balancing it on his knee, there's no space on the counter anymore! there's some patterns (mostly 80s/90s), tons of drapery and upholstery, fringe/trims, zippers, buttons and just lots of cottons and clothing fabrics. like i said be prepare to dig! i happened to want a fabric on the bottom of a 2 foot stack! it took 2 of us to pry it out!
