So I knew what to look for when I brought my toddler here for the first time. I can tell you the instructors are top-notch. Truly caring, respectful, and professional. Every single adult and child was wearing a mask -- if that matters to you. So do NOT listen to the other review. My son has has a very difficult year: covid, being pulled out of school, no socializing, and his mother leaving us. He has become incredibly shy and anti-social. However, by the end of his first class, I could see him break out, just a little, back to his former self. I felt so proud and emotional. I want to thank Sensei Val. She did a tremendous job with my son and all of the students. We also watched the last half of the older kids' class. The instructors (I don't know their names) did a phenomenal job. The kids were attentive, focused, eager, happy and disciplined. This is going to be an excellent review, but before I tell you why I hold this place in high esteem, let me give you some background. I'm in my 30s, overweight, sedentary, and not used to being around "workout culture", if you know what I mean. I was nervous that I wouldn't really fit in, that I would be left behind in the dust of others who are physically fitter than I, and didn't really know what to expect. However, everyone here is extremely friendly and supportive - not just the staff, who are amazing and knowledgeable, but also the students. The instructors are patient, personable and provide great motivation without shaming you. The workouts are fun and well thought-out. This is more expensive than a gym membership, but it is also so much more rewarding. You really feel like you're part of a family when you train here, and, as for me, I am motivated to keep coming back! They also have classes for kids, and from what I've seen (I'm not a parent but have caught the tail end of some classes before my workout), the kids look like they're having an awesome time!
