They have climate controlled storage for your mobile pod so you don't have to worry about the elements damaging your items, or if your prefer they can leave the pod at your place. Then they will move it to your destination when you need it. Excellent service! Tom was so accomodating and really worked with us in our situation. Zippy Shell was a pleasure to work with and their staff were all professional, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend their moving in service as well. They unloaded 2 full-to-the-max pods and put each item where we requested in 2 hours. Totally worth the cost! Don't bother trying to do the unloading yourself, it's so nice to have them do it so we could have the time and energy to start unpacking boxes. I have looked at reviews and called multiple moving/storage companies over the last 2 months trying to make this move as seamless as possible. When I called zippy (from a Flyer I received in the mail), I spoke to a national call center. They were hands down the most friendly, professional, and helpful company I spoke to. From going over prices on several different scenarios to making sure I received the best deal/discounts and to helping me figure out how many containers I would actually need. I was still hesitant because just because office staff is friendly does NOT mean the moving portion will go well. I ordered 1 large container and 2hrs labor when the shell was delivered. I set about packing all boxes and wrapping furniture, disassembling some furniture. The operator, Tom, from the local unit called me the week of the move to make sure we were both on the same page and he'd have everything we needed. I did voice my concern that I might have more things than originally thought and he assured me we'd be taken care of. The morning of the move, Tom, a driver and 1 container showed up at my house before the movers. Tom wanted to take a look and make sure everything went smoothly. He was concerned we'd need 1.5containers...more than 1 but not quite 2. He gave me multiple options to help me maximize the movers and make it the most financially efficient. I made the call and had them go get a second container (which he thankfully had on site!)...2 movers arrived, Tom stayed and helped them pack the 1st container as he wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. Before the first one was full, the 2nd container arrived. Both containers ended up being filled-movers were professional and clearly experienced at their job. They treated my belongings and us respectfully. I have moved 10 times-hands down, this was the best. Super impressed with these guys. Tom has gone above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly and I received the best financial deal. I haven't received my belongings in FL yet, when I do I'll update, but I feel confident it will go smoothly as well.
