We were able to head directly over and complete the necessary paperwork. We gained access to the gate and our trailer was safely secured. This was a temporary solution for us and it worked well. We were unable to move our belongings overseas with us so I needed somewhere climate controlled to store our stuff. This was one of the only place to pop up in my search. It was a newish facility at the time so I figured I'd give it a shot. BOY WAS THAT A MISTAKE. Are the facilities nice? Sure. Is the customer service good? Hell no. My rent is raised every 3-4 months. I've had to use storage facilities quite a few times in the past 10 years and I'm use to a yearly rental raise. That's pretty standard. What I'm not use to is the rent being increase by $50 in a period of two years because it goes up every few months. I was promised my rate would be locked for a year only to have it raised for a fourth time like 4 months later. I believe Melissa the "lovely" manager keeps doing this to me because I'm overseas and do not have the option of moving my things to a new facility. My husband is junior enlisted in the military and we are barely surviving in the high cost area we are stationed. We can't afford a trip to the US just to move our stuff to a place with better customer service. After expressing my discontent every time to the manager there I get back an apology email filled with excuses, poor grammar, and typos. It really makes you wonder what type of company this is when they hire a manager that can't even use spell check before she sends a business email. I feel like I'm being completely ripped off and made the unfortunate mistake of storing my stuff with a scam company. I sincerely hope no one else gets suckered into storing this stuff here. This is the worst u-haul location I have ever been to. The website indicated the location opened…read moreat 7am. No one showed up until 730 to service customers. When they finally open the doors, there were 8-10 people waiting. There was only one person working the counter, so the check-in process moved ridiculously slow. After a long wait, I finally was assigned a truck, only to find that it was parked behind another and I could not exit. I spoke to a U-Haul worker, It took him over 15 minutes to move the other truck so I could exit. During that time I spoke to another client that was also waiting for a u-haul worker to move a truck so he could also leave. To add insult to injury, the cab of my assigned truck smelled like fish. When I returned the truck, after my move, the agent receiving the trucks said he was unable to check me in, and that he would do it later and I would get an email. While the work ethic and attitude of the workers was extremely poor, I blame the site manager for making bad hires, poor training, and not creating a client focused culture.

This location offers one of the lowest prices I have found for filling your propane tanks in the nearby Greensboro area and compare to other businesses nearby. The tanks were filled quickly without any issue. The credit card machine that is built onto the propane station was not working, but a second employee was standing by with a mobile device that was able to run my credit card and send me an E text receipt without any delays. I was very satisfied with how quickly I was able to get in and out at this location and the staff were very polite and professional.
