I'm honestly at a loss for words--except that my family's experience at Ascension Saint Thomas…read moreUrgent Care in Tullahoma deserves every bit of criticism! My son's been sick for weeks, and when we arrived, NP Kellie Marsh seemed as interested as a cat at a dog show. I explained his persistent cough, green-yellow phlegm, and a mysterious white postule on his throat, only to have her brush it off like it was nothing more than a bad hair day. When I asked her to check his ears (because apparently, you have to teach some folks basic doctoring skills), she admitted she couldn't even see clearly in his mouth. Then came the icing on this very bitter cake: the receptionist. Instead of helping update a sick note for a child who needs round-the-clock care, she decided to play medical bureaucrat--scrutinizing our paperwork like she was grading a pop quiz and outright refusing our request. It was like watching a pissing contest where the stakes were my child's health! We ended up having to endure a showdown with Kellie that sent our blood pressure soaring (and not in a good way!). It felt like the staff were more interested in arguing than actually caring. To add insult to injury, this isn't even the first time we've faced such unprofessional, dismissive behavior. A previous visit with DIANNE, NP--complete with a "Claritin is as useless as tits on a turtle" comment--left us feeling humiliated and ignored. In summary: if you're looking for compassionate care and common sense, steer clear of this urgent care. They seem to be running a competition for the worst bedside manner rather than actually treating patients. Save your time, your money, and most importantly--your health.

The provider I had seen that night was truly kind, very knowledgeable he did not rush me at all in any way took the time to hear me out. I was very pleased I spent maybe just under 2hrs if that there and that's including me filling out new patient paperwork while the receptionist was dealing with a difficult patient at the time.

They basically checked my vitals and made sure I had a knee reflex, but I was told they couldn't do the blood work that day because they had scheduled me on a day when the phlebotomist wasn't there. So, I come back another day just for blood work and pay another co-pay, but upon leaving they setup another appointment for me to come in and get my blood results, which I thought was unnecessary, but I decided I would call ahead of the appointment and ask to get my results over the phone because I'm a 32 year old healthy male and I was pretty sure the results were clean. I told them I didn't want to take off work to come in and get results that were perfectly fine, but they told me it was policy and I had to come in, which triggers a 3rd co-pay. I come in to get my results and what do you know, everything is perfectly fine and I could have just been told that over the phone. I gave the NP a mouthful about how they have no regard for people's time and it's borderline insurance fraud to make people come in for blood work that came back perfect. The NP repeatedly said it was policy and all doctor's make people come in by default to get their blood results, but I know that isn't true. I was dating a phlebotomist at the time, and obviously can check with other humans to know that isn't the case. The next time I called them for an appointment, I was told they dismissed me. If you want to be utilized for as many co-pays as possible and be treated like a number in the system, this place is for you!

It was a car side visit so she wouldn't be around other people, plus she was very tired and weak.We sat and sat and sat. Finally the nurse came out, gave her a covid test, and said the doctor would be out to see her. We sat and sat and sat again, finally the physician assistant came out, listened to her lungs, and took her inside for an x-ray. We waited for an hour after her x-ray. I told her at 4:45 to call. It went straight to the voicemail! So I went inside and said look, we've been waiting for an hour for the results of my mom's x-ray! She's tired and weak and needs to go home and rest! The lady asked her name and looked at her computer for a minute, then said to go on home, she'd send the doctor a message to review the x-ray and she'd call with the results. Then SHE had to call the doctor this morning, no one called her! They said bronchitis and sent 2 scripts to Walgreens. Not a single simple apology for yesterday! Mom says she's not going back. She likes the doctor and the office people, but yesterday was absolutely inexcusable, considering the possible seriousness of her situation!
