So happy we got to try the Crab King Ramen on the last day of the promo! It was delicious. My sister had it at Ramen Nagi's Ayala Malls Manila Bay location the day before and loved it, so she told me to try it after flying in to Terminal 3 from Mindoro.
Ramen Nagi is inside the Food Hall in Terminal 3 which is located on the 4th floor. Hang to the left when you enter the Food Hall and you'll see it on your right right across from KFC. We got there around 11 am, so it wasn't terribly busy. We got seated right away and proceeded to order the Crab King Ramen. It was the last day of the promo.
It looked so impressive when it came. The ramen came with a large piece of nori and a deep fried soft shell crab on top of the models. Michael and I ordered the same thing except that he ordered thin noodles. I ordered the thicker curly noodles. We both agreed that the broth was fantastic. It was milky, not too heavy and so full of umami especially with the crab flavor. We ate the crab as soon as we started as we didn't want it to get soggy. The egg was also perfect. The orange yolk inside was jammy. Definitely perfectly cooked.
We also had an order of Karaage which was good (4 stars) and an order of Gyoza which was just okay. It came out piping hot. I have to say that I like the gyoza better at Daikokuya in Little Tokyo LA. I haven't found anything as good as Daikokuya's gyoza.
We loved the food so much we decided to have lunch here again the following day. They no longer had the Crab King Ramen. Michael ended up getting a regular Tonkotsu Ramen with Pork Belly and an egg. The egg wasn't as perfectly cooked this time, but he still loved the soup. I decided to order something lighter like Tempura from Akimitsu Tendon.
If you're in Terminal 3, definitely check out Ramen Nagi. The ramen is delicious and so inexpensive at under $10. read more
