While the space was clean, the ramen was tasty, and the service remained prompt, the "soul" of the meal was missing. They were out of both their signature chicken karaage (the best in MOA!) and bean sprouts. For a place like Ramen Nagi, these staples are what set them apart. To top it off, the restroom was out of order. I'm giving 2 stars out of loyalty to their usual quality, but last night was a missed mark. I'll be back, but I hope they get their inventory and facilities back on track.

I came here looking for one thing and that is obvisouly a nice hot fresh bowl of ramen and that is exactly what I got! Ordering is quite simple as to where you fill out a sheet and order how you would like your customized bowl of ramen to be. I ended up getting the butao bowl which in my eyes was a pork broth tonkotsu ramen. I went rich with the taste, extra heavy with the special sauce, normal garlic, pork belly, green onion for the vegetables, and chose no spice. As for the noodles I went ahead for a normal thin noodle, a soft boiled egg and also extra noodles along with a Asahi super dry bottle beer. The food came out in no time and was looking pretty tasty! Quick time first bite but wait I need to take these pictures first. WOW it was amazing! The richness of the broth was on point with a creamy rich pork bone flavor. The pork belly was as tender as could be and just simply melted in my mouth. The star of the show was the thin noodles as to where they had the perfect snap back when biting into them and very easy to chew. In a matter of fact I was blessed to have ordered extra noodles because I smashed the first batch in no time. The soft boiled egg was cooked to perfection with a nice soy marinade and when eating it the egg yolk bursting really got me excited. The Asahi bottled beer was great to have on hand to wash down all the greatness I just experienced in a bowl of noodle soup. I really enjoyed the cold frosty mug they gave me as well. What a great ramen restaurant to go to while your in the Mall of Asia. I enjoyed some of the best ramen and fast friendly service here. The prices are not bad and wont break the bank for a bowl here. Customer service was served with a smile and the staff seemed proud and happy to work here. please give this place a try when in the area!

My…read moresister had it at Ramen Nagi's Ayala Malls Manila Bay location the day before and loved it, so she told me to try it after flying in to Terminal 3 from Mindoro. Ramen Nagi is inside the Food Hall in Terminal 3 which is located on the 4th floor. Hang to the left when you enter the Food Hall and you'll see it on your right right across from KFC. We got there around 11 am, so it wasn't terribly busy. We got seated right away and proceeded to order the Crab King Ramen. It was the last day of the promo. It looked so impressive when it came. The ramen came with a large piece of nori and a deep fried soft shell crab on top of the models. Michael and I ordered the same thing except that he ordered thin noodles. I ordered the thicker curly noodles. We both agreed that the broth was fantastic. It was milky, not too heavy and so full of umami especially with the crab flavor. We ate the crab as soon as we started as we didn't want it to get soggy. The egg was also perfect. The orange yolk inside was jammy. Definitely perfectly cooked. We also had an order of Karaage which was good (4 stars) and an order of Gyoza which was just okay. It came out piping hot. I have to say that I like the gyoza better at Daikokuya in Little Tokyo LA. I haven't found anything as good as Daikokuya's gyoza. We loved the food so much we decided to have lunch here again the following day. They no longer had the Crab King Ramen. Michael ended up getting a regular Tonkotsu Ramen with Pork Belly and an egg. The egg wasn't as perfectly cooked this time, but he still loved the soup. I decided to order something lighter like Tempura from Akimitsu Tendon. If you're in Terminal 3, definitely check out Ramen Nagi. The ramen is delicious and so inexpensive at under $10.

Dine-in space looked pretty limited although late afternoon seemed like a good time! FOOD Butao King was delicious as always (in comparison to all other branches we've been to). Noodles were extra firm, broth was umami, and the veggies were perfect in quantity. It is still such a convenience to be able to request exactly how you want your ramen to be cooked (on the paper). SERVICE Waiting time was very much acceptable. We hardly had to wait long and the food was served very hot.

The restaurant had a really cute Japan theme with super cute decorations! The food was really good and different. We ordered the Gyoza (php 180), Chicken Karage Caesar Salad (php 190), Hakata Ramen (php 340) and the Cheese Ramen (php 350). The item that stood out to me was the Cheese Ramen, at first I thought that it wouldn't be good and I would get tired of it cause its just cheese and noodles. I ended up liking it because the cheese that they used wasn't overwhelming as I thought it would be. The Hakata Ramen was also really yummy and not too salty. Total ~$20

Hanging lanterns and signages creates an authentic feel of eating along the streets of throwback Tokyo. I came from Asia Pop Comic Con in SMX and it is better to dine outside MOA to avoid the hassle. It was a long, tiring day and a bowl of Ramen is the only thing I have in mind. Good thing there's a branch of Mitsuyado Sei Men in blue bay walk. Tsukemen means "dipping noodles", the art of eating ramen with a separate broth and soup to dip the noodles. The regular bowl of cheese tsukemen is a contention of a savory soup and thick sauce cheese. The taste is confusing on the the onset but I easily acquired the taste. I also ordered ebi tempura don. I have the urge that I deserve to eat noodleas and rice at the same time. The pacing of the service is slow. There's a refillable service tea but they don't serve glass of water. You can also bring home pastries and bread from Yamato Bakery conveniently connected at Mitsuydo Sei-Men. The original branch is located at Jupiter street in Makati City.

Mentally bookmarked it and came back another day during off hours (3 pm) - the waiting benches outside were empty. The decor inside is impressive - a huge display of ramen spoons crown the central open kitchen where Chashu is being grilled and bowls of soup noodles are assembled. The order is taken at the register at the front before you are seated. Once seated at the bar, a chef and waiter on either side of the bar are there to help you out. I ordered a delicious Tsukemen, whose broth options were different had I ordered a regular bowl of soup ramen. The tsukemen broths appear to be more seafood forward and worth coming back to try them all. I do recommend getting extra chashu no matter what your order is. For just 315 PHP you get 3 extra pieces of smoky goodness, an outstanding piece of meat that I've never seen at any other ramen joint. Definitely a must-come-back to on my next Manila visit

The location in BGC was quite large with the bar like seating winding all around the kitchen area. Hundreds of soup spoons hung above. Ordering process was the same with the menu posted at the front. Three types of ramen (regular, dipping and soupless) plus side dishes like gyoza and extra char siu. Service was fast at the front and kitchen staff regularly shouted greetings in Japanese when getting seated. Food took a little long to be served as I watched one guy prepping, making the ramen and char siu. Seemed like they were a little understaffed that day. I had ordered my favorite tan tan men with a side of char siu. The broth was creamy and mildly spicy. Ramen was thick and chewy. Char siu was thick, juicy and added more flavors to my tan tan men. Their char siu was quite a generous serving of pork for the price. Beats many other ramen places. Gyozas here were also good. Crisp on the outside and good amount of filling inside. They offered two sizes, 3 or 5 pieces. Besides the slow service this chain still remains my favorite here in Philippines.
