The first time I used him was 2 years ago, he repaired my rather large custom made Bimini top, excellent work, better than new. So when the sub box went on the deck boat, I had a new box custom made and took it to him for the upholstery. Top notch work! His work is superb, priced very reasonable, and knows his stuff. The owner asked if I had had a few minutes, within 15 minutes, I had a new zipper installed perfectly with a freshly sewn stop! I asked the gentlemen how much, and he said no charge! This is not only how you market your business in a small town with a local feel, but you win over new customers. She saw us earlier than we had arranged and got us all done on the same day. The office manager kept communication going efficiently, so questions didn't stop progress. The installer took off his shoes each time he climbed into the boat, gosh that is so nice! The little dog? Well, he was obviously quality control because he kept an eye on everyone. Our home is hours away and the quick attention meant that we got to get on the lake instead of spending our days off on boat maintenance. They had some big ticket stuff happening too but we just appreciate the time they took for our little job.

We explained that the owner said to bring it in. She said they still can't accept it with no additional explanation. We were at a loss for words. After us pressing the issue the receptionist went back to the rear of the store and came back and said leave it here we will call you and let you know whether we will fix it or not. We received a text saying it would be approx $600.00 to patch and wash the cover. We decided to pick it up and go elsewhere. He said it ran when I left the shop and he was too busy to help me. That knucklehead told me to go buy a $3 bottle of Heat at Auto Zone.... and put it in the gas it cleared everything up. Why didn't he put the Heat in the gas to ensure his customer didn't have a problem?
