Unfortunately, I was transferred back and forth between departments 2-3 times and had difficulty getting a clear answer. At one point, the call was even disconnected/hung up. I understand that hospitals can be busy, but communication and customer service should be much better, especially for something as important as delivery and labor registration. As a large hospital, there should be a clearer process and better communication between departments so patients are not left confused or frustrated. I hope the hospital can improve this process and provide better support for expecting mothers who need assistance with preregistration.

Wish I had known about this location since it's closer to me. My appointment was at 5pm but I was told to arrive 30mins prior to my appointment. I did all the pre-assessment/ check in on MyChart days before my appointment. I arrived at the building around 4:18pm there was a lady before me and it took a while to get me checked in only because the lady before me did not do her pre-screening questions on the app so the front desk was asking her all the questions. l waited about 10mins to get checked in. Unlike the Palm Location this place only had one receptionist and the phones were constantly ringing too. Not sure if it's because it's the end of the day or they are short staffed but they definitely need a 2nd person to assist to avoid long check in times. After checking in I sat in their waiting area, 5mins later they called me back and my sonographer was really nice. She was quick I was done and out of the building 5mins later. This place is clean, plenty of parking. I would definitely recommend downloading mychart app to do an e-check in prior to arriving to your appointment to avoid the long waits and it also helps the staff. Dr. Golden's office also offers some unique transfusions that will increase your energy levels mental focus and overall health. Daisy is excellent with her IV skills. I always look forward to my visits and the MAs are always attentive and fantastic with their medication injections. His office staff has been with him for many years, and that tells you what kind of pleasant and wonderful man he is to work for because most physicians offices have high turnover. Dr Golden's front office staff are friendly and willing to go the extra mile for you. If they don't have an answer, they will find a resource or referral and get back to you within a reasonable amount of time. For more than 30 years , I've never had a problem with billing and if there is an issue with my insurance company, the Billing office has always advocated for me and my husband and worked things out even when there was a time I had to be a cash patient. I used to really trust Dr. Lorenzo Lopez. He cared for me through seven pregnancies, starting when…read moreI was just 14 and a first-time mom. Back then, he was working at the Women's Center in Reedley, and I continued with him through the years--even after switching to private insurance and later to Medi-Cal. He made an exception for me, and I followed him from Reedley to Clovis. Keep in mind, this office doesn't accept Medi-Cal and never has, but he continued seeing me and delivered three of my children there. He delivered my daughter in 2019 and my son in 2020. But even then, I started noticing issues--like when he missed my daughter's delivery because he was still in the office. A nurse had to deliver her, and his excuse was that he wasn't called in time. In 2022, I became pregnant again, and unfortunately, I miscarried at almost six months. Dr. Lopez saw me only once afterward, with no empathy and no real explanation--just, "You're halfway through; this is what happened." Shortly after, his office called to tell me he would no longer see me because of my Medi-Cal coverage. After all those years and all those pregnancies, I felt completely abandoned. Thankfully, I was referred to UCSF in San Francisco. The drive was long, but the level of care was on a whole different level. They supported me through a surgical procedure during my next pregnancy in 2023, which helped me carry my rainbow baby safely. Later, I learned from my new OB-GYN that being induced in my past pregnancies carried risks that were never fully explained to me. That was hard to hear. I always believed Dr. Lopez had my best interest at heart, but looking back, I question how informed I really was. I do want to acknowledge his medical assistant, she is amazing and so kind. But I can no longer recommend Dr. Lopez. What hurt the most was being dropped after my miscarriage and being told I couldn't be seen anymore because of my insurance, despite being a loyal patient for years. Shame on you, Dr. Lopez. I don't forget where you came from--and I never expected to be treated like that. To anyone reading this: do your research. If you can, look into doctors in the Bay Area or at Cedars-Sinai. It may be a drive, but it's worth it to receive real care. I felt I had to leave this review because a couple of girlfriends recently asked me for OB recommendations--and I gave them my honest answer. Personally, I would feel more comfortable having Dr. Dan Dorough (He delivered my son when Dr.Lopez was on vacation) take care of me than Dr. Lorenzo Lopez at this point. Thank you, Dr. Lopez, for the care you did provide, but also for letting me go when I was at my lowest. I ended up receiving amazing care at UCSF in San Francisco, and today I have my rainbow baby. I wish you the best with your plans to move to Washington, like you once told me you wanted to do.

I called Dr Lopez, he spoke with me on the phone, calmed my nerves and was very empathetic. He immediately referred me to a surgeon within Community Medical providers, and I was able to have care within a few days. I was very impressed how fast he acted on my behalf. He has always been a GREAT listener and WONDERFUL Dr!!!!
