We had issues with West Valley School District and felt our only choice was private school or homeschooling. I am so glad we chose to try VCS. It has been an exceptional experience for us these past 3 years. Moving into Jr High, we see no reason to expect anything different. I'm not saying they are the only good school or that it will be the right fit for your circumstances. But, if you are researching options, they are definitely worth a look.

They really care about the students learning and the curriculum is very well designed. My son and daughter have been in Kumon for 3 years and both have been #1 in their class at school for reading and math. During this pandemic, they have been able to use their kumon homework to keep up with and add to their school curriculum. I still feel bad that they are not able to attend public school but at least I have some comfort in knowing they are doing their kumon everyday and will not fall behind when school starts back up. If your reading this and struggling to keep consistency in home schooling your kids during this pandemic, I highly recommend you check out Kumon as it is a very well designed program that gives nice structure to education outside of school for your little ones
