An incredible school that we were fortunate to find. The teachers truly make the difference here. The staff is unbelievably supportive and the focus is clearly on the kids. We had issues with West Valley School District and felt our only choice was private school or homeschooling. I am so glad we chose to try VCS. It has been an exceptional experience for us these past 3 years. Moving into Jr High, we see no reason to expect anything different. I'm not saying they are the only good school or that it will be the right fit for your circumstances. But, if you are researching options, they are definitely worth a look. read more

A lot of the students are really mean and when being disciplined it isn't taken seriously and…read morenothing changes.... and for those who aren't like that but do one thing wrong they are the most looked at by administers. There are also a good amount of teachers that don't follow Accommodations for students who need them and make school more difficult then it needs to be. It is almost a daily occurrence for the second lunch to run out of food so not all students get fed during the day, and compared to last year the portions are small even though the food budget is supposedly more then it was last year, to add on milk is sometimes either frozen or wildly expired, and it is common to find under cooked chicken in the chicken sandwiches. overall, there are a lot of good students and kind and helpful staff members
