I have a successful family owned new commercial plumbing company, our office bids on millions of dollars of plumbing work every month. I ran into an issue that was beyond my expertise so I called to get some assistance. spoke to 2 different Ryan's the first day and they promised me that the tech would call me back shortly. With buisness at a stand still, no call back! called the next morning and actually got someone named Chris on the phone. I explained what was going on and he told me the techs were not in for at least another hour, but he would mark it priority for them to call me back. 3 hours went by, buisness still greatly crippled by the issue with the computer, and no call. Frustrated, I called Best Buy. One 45 minute call and we were back up and running again at full capacity. If you have a problem with your pc, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GROUP OF INCOMPETENT PEOPLE!! Oh, by the way, they NEVER CALLED BACK AT ALL!!! Forgotten about and neglected when my Buisness and livelihood were on the line! You people are a joke and if the owner knows what's good for him, he should start re-staffing immediately, or prepare to go bankrupt because the employees don't care about his customers or his money! read more

I was sent to university PC by Apple on March 4 because I had received a iPhone 17 Pro Max from Apple a month and a half ago well, I plugged it in the night before and when I unplugged it the very next day the battery went from 100 to 57. I took the phone first to Best Buy. The gentleman there told me that he could not authenticate the battery so he suggested that I contact Apple to get their recommendation. I contacted Apple and Apple told me to take the iPhone to university PC, the Apple representative scheduled me an appointment with University PC and they would have it repaired well when I got there a young man was helping me. He asked another representative for help who was working with another gentleman at the end of the counter a question about my phone as he and I talked. The other representative said you're gonna have to pay to get this phone fixed for that battery because Apple doesn't pay for battery I told him excuse me Apple sent me there and they said they would have the battery replaced besides I have AppleCare on the phone . He then said well you won't have to pay for the battery but if you want this phone fix you're gonna have to leave it right now. I asked him what am I supposed to do without a phone? He said not his problem so I told him that wasn't gonna happen because Apple said they would fix the battery and I told him that was not going to working Apple said they would replace the phone if I could not get it fixed there so now Apple is going to replace my new phone with another new phone. Right now I'm feeling some kinda way about my last visit I called Apple and explained what had happened and why I couldn't leave my phone in that place. Apple representative apologized for the situation ( which she didn't have to, but it made things lighter, it was appreciated) she said she understood and they would make the arrangement to exchange my phone . I was in a pickle with my computer. It was evident I had malware virus and I reached out to University Computer via the website and scheduled a remote session. Joshua was assigned to my case. He was patient, professional and trustworthy. My issues required a substantial amount of time and he continued to work with me to a few hours. Again, I needed additional time and he scheduled another session and contacted me during our scheduled time. Besides the virus issue, he was able to help organize me (and my unorganized systems) from multiple devices. I was very pleased with the service I received and have recommended University PC remote service to friends outside of the eastern NC area. Well worth the money! Got completely ripped off by these guys, paid $180 for it to get cleaned, knowing the damage to my laptop I got second looks at it & was told my laptop looks like it's never been touched, and is now completely fixed by someone who is NOT an apple care provider, something is wrong with that. Yet another one star review! I had an appointment that I made a week in advance and drove an hour for, to have a screen repair warrantied by Apple. I walked in on time, just to be greeted with "we won't be able to guarantee that we will be able to get this back within a week," and "we'll call you when we can get it in." Very poor customer service. "Too busy" to do any warranty repair. I would not recommend this place. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Contact University PC Care first!!! You probably won't need to call anyone else. Had an issue with an Iphone and didn't want to drive to an Apple Store. I sent an email on a Sunday with some questions and received a response back in a few hours. Did I mention it was a Sunday???? They promptly and professionally took care of everything. Stay away from these folks. I have had a contract with them for a couple of years, and at first they were attentive and helpful. I even bought my current computer from them. They are now nothing like helpful. Call for on-line assistance and they offer you an appointment in a week and half. Drop your computer off for work, and you'd better have a back-up computer. They'll work on it when they get around to it. Not sure if they're over-subscribed and too successful, if they've lost interest, or what, but they are definitely a huge disappointment. I usually read reviews and just assume that the person who writes a bad review is just that one person who had a bad experience and couldnt get over it. This is the first review I have ever posted for a business by the way, but I couldn't let this slide. I'm a nursing student and I need my computer every single day for studying powerpoints, typing notes in class etc. I dropped my computer off on Saturday, August 25th and was told that from what the issue sounded like, it should take 5-6 days for me to get it back, which was bad enough, but I understood that Saturdays are probably more for just drop-offs and that more than likely, no actual work is performed until Monday. After a full week, I called them since of course I had never recieved a call or email, and was told that the operating system needed to be reloaded onto the computer and it would probably be done by the beginning of the following week, if I wanted them to do that so I said "Of course, please just call me or leave me a message so I can come get it ASAP". Another FULL week had gone by, so I called again and they told me that it was almost done, this honestly gave me a good feeling that they probably had not started yet because there is absolutely NO WAY that it should ever take that long to remove and reload the operating system onto a macbook. Today, Monday, September 10th, I went by there and asked if it was ready, and was told no not yet, I left and went to pick up my daughter, right then I got a call saying that it actually was ready and they were sorry, so I went back a couple of hours later and they realized that they did not put my data back onto the hard drive, which was a service that I paid for. Two hours after that, it was officially done and to my disbelief I recieved an apology, and was charged the full $192.60. Anybody who is familiar at all with how a customer service-oriented business should be run, would assume that either a discount should be offered, or in some cases maybe the business should just eat the bill for their time, and let the customer go free of charge. To pay this as a struggling college student, who's performance in nursing school has taken a definite hit from not having my computer, was absolutely disgusting. A business such as University PC Care, should not recieve any support from the local populace until they learn how to be honest with the customer if they havent had time to get to their computer yet, and show a little more concern for keeping the customer happy. Take this review how you will, but personally, I will never forget this and will always do my best to deter anyone from going to this place. read more
