There is nothing great about getting a head scan. But the receptionist here made my welcome so easy that I was relaxed immediately upon laughing with her. The lobby is spacious and very clean. The tech was friendly and knowledgeable. The MRA machine is out dated and to be upgraded in the near future. But like myself old is still good, functional, and gets the job down right. read more

I've now been here twice. Once for my mammogram and now for an ultrasound. The staff is always very friendly. They do a really good job of getting you in for whatever test you need. They are following all covid rules. I had to call from my car once I arrived. The first time that I went there they brought me out the paperwork and I just brought it in when it was my turn. I'm sure in the system, they just verify your insurance verbally and you're good to go. I never had to wait more than 10 minutes in my car. My temperature was taken at the front door. Then I was brought immediately into the testing room. There's plenty of parking along with handicapped spots. Everything is wheelchair assessable. read more

Came for ultrasound. Easy to make appointment online, with lots of openings even within a few days. Pre-registration was also easy to do online, lots of questions but all standard stuff. It was nice to be able to go straight to the appointment without the hassle of additional paperwork. Text and email reminders were straightforward, as well as a courtesy phone call. Walked in and barely needed to wait 5 minutes before getting in. This is where the 5 star service came in - I had brought my infant, not realizing children weren't allowed in the exam room. The receptionist kindly offered to watch my kid for a bit, and the technician doing my exam was understanding and efficient and fast. Plus the room felt like a spa - dim christmas lights, warm ultrasound gel gliding across my abdomen, zen music vibes... I probably could have fallen asleep if I stayed there longer. On my way out, one of the staff walked me out and opened all the doors for me, making it much easier to exit while carrying a giant carseat. Its never fun getting any medical tests done, but the folks at this location of University Radiology know exactly what to say/do to make it as pleasant of an experience as possible. read more

Visited in November 2022 for my first mammogram. Making the appointment online was very easy. Check in via phone was smooth as well. I waited in my car until I received the notification to come in. I was VERY nervous as I am very sensitive and the radiologist was vey comforting. She walked me through what would take place and spoke to me during the mammogram to keep me distracted. I had to return for a follow up ultrasound and getting the follow up appointment was easy as well. The radiologist who performed this ultrasound was equally as kind and informative. The doctor who came in to speak with me about the results was compassionate and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed or like I was asking silly questions. I haven't been to any other UR location but I highly recommend this one due to my very pleasant experiences both times. I have been with the university radiology for years. Their professionalism is always on the top rank. Front desk is friendly and well organized. In Covid, they let people wait in car which I think it is a great idea, and the waiting time is even shorter than normal. Thumbs up. read more

This is one the the worst places to come if you want to keep your sanity intact. Some front end staff members are beyond incompetent and complacent. Every time I come here( because it's in network) I have to bite my tongue. Just today I came for 2 ultra sound procedures, and this J lady is billing me for 3 things. Got really flustered after I questioned why. She said " they" entered the wrong thing. Who is "they"? Ladies, keep in mind that if you come here for your mammogram, rest assure you will be back for secondary check. Only once had I did not have to come back to do the follow up. My friend came for one in 2021 with me! Guess what?? Both of us got letters to come back for a second look! Frankly, it's only once that I didn't have to do double takes. I think it is really a way to keep getting paid from the insurance companies. I have a new prescription for yearly mammogram and this office is refusing to do it till I do the follow up from 2021!
