I have been dealing with an ongoing bill dispute with this office for the last several years. Isis and Nayaja have both giving me the run around regarding a bill I do not owe. Just this morning, Paulette Clay hung up on me when I called to inquire about the incorrect billing sent to my insurance company. She said a doctor would not call me back and that I waited years later to contact them, which is a disregard for the truth. I have been fighting this for the last 5 years and I have made numerous calls which I have documented and still no one from the office will take accountability for their negligence. I was incorrectly billed 5 years ago. I spoke to the head of billing 5 years ago (Nayaja) and she assured me that the billing code for the insurance would be corrected to indicate the corrected procedure. I called 1-2 weeks after initial call and Najya reassured me again it was taken care of. Four years later I get a collection notice stating I owed $650 for a mammogram that was billed incorrectly. I called the Perth Amboy Diagnostic and they placed the blame on me saying then sent me several letters to my old address -it was four years ago of course I moved and I didn't think about this because as Nayaja reassured me it would be corrected. However she didn't do her job and now I am here having to advocate for myself, spending hours of my life to prove I am not responsible. Be weary of this provider. If you have had the same issue please make sure you submit a complaint with the departments below department of health at https://web.doh.state.nj.us/fc/search.aspx and at NJ Consumer Affairs https://www.njconsumeraffairs.gov/ and FTC's Consumer Response Center at 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357. I filed my complaints and will continue to do so until they correct their wrongs. I am not sure how many other people have been billed incorrectly and then sent to collection due to an erroneous code but enough is enough.
