My 75-year-old relative was admitted to the emergency department due to a mental health crisis. What we encountered was appalling: the room was filthy, littered with trash, floors unmopped, no bedding, walls stained, and an overwhelming stench filled the air. This was not an isolated issue--both rooms we were moved through were in similarly unsanitary condition. While the hospital often responds to public reviews citing privacy concerns, I found this ironic. As a licensed psychologist, I was shocked by the complete disregard for HIPAA. Conversations about treatment were held openly, with no effort to preserve the dignity or confidentiality of patients in crisis. I visited two different bathrooms on two different floors, and both reeked of urine. I'm not sure how a hospital could maintain a level of cleanliness worse than a gas station restroom, but somehow this facility managed it. Despite being cities away, I felt I had no choice but to remove my relative from their care. The conditions were simply unpalatable and not conducive to anyone's healing--particularly someone experiencing a mental health episode. *Highlights* (because credit is due): The security staff were very kind and helpful Phone calls were answered promptly Medical staff were personable and kind They showed compassion toward patients with mental health conditions However, compassion alone cannot make up for the deplorable conditions and lack of basic patient privacy. I sincerely hope Dignity Health re-evaluates the standard of care provided at this hospital--especially for vulnerable populations. "If you are ever in a crisis call 911 and ask for a different hospital intake."

Several times they were already onto something just as we were realizing it was happening. These ladies deserve deep respect and admiration. We watched and were part of a baby rush where several women delivered within minutes and these fantastic nurses never skipped a beat- they are truly a wonderful and an asset to Mercy Hospital. Dr. Nanra over saw my care while I was there and said if anything comes up come and see us. I decided to take him up on his offer today when I woke up to some questionable symptoms. They had me in and out within an hour (unheard of for urgent care as busy as them, especially with them also being a primary care clinic.) the clinic is clean, the staff is friendly and they are very on top of it. The doctor listened to my history and what led up to today and took all of that into consideration with his treatment options. I will definitely be returning here for my urgent care needs. I'm happy that I have the option to go here if anything urgent arises and know that they care about their patients. Thank you golden state!!!

I kept getting denied by my insurance. My insurance kept requesting more info for the MRI. The NP D. Huizar I had seen never called my insurance to do a Dr to Dr call to get my MRI approved. I went to the office twice when rejection letters from insurance were received. The letters specified the info they needed and for my medical office to call them. I even wrote up a list of meds and dates seen for my medical issue to help her when she was to speak to insurance. She still hasn't called and now insurance has cancelled all mri requests for my issue and I have to start all over again. The front office staff had a hard time scanning my documents to be put in my file, she wasn't loading pages correctly. This place is not worth going to.

Golden Valley Health Center will not know if Pfizer or Moderna available until day of injection for COVID 19. Golden Valley put me on a waiting list and never dispensed vaccination. Lack of communication is why I left Dignity years ago but in other ways Golden Valley has its issues too. Dignity has a supply of Moderna vaccine and was able to provide me first dose. Per Stat News: https://www.statnews.com/2021/02/02/comparing-the-covid-19-vaccines-developed-by-pfizer-moderna-and-johnson-johnson/ Each dose of Pfizer's contains 30 micrograms of vaccine. Moderna went with a much larger dose of vaccine, 100 micrograms. Also Moderna requires 28 days between doses v 21 for Pfizer. Moderna ships at minus 4 degrees fahrenheit v minus 94 for Pfizer.

She was persistent that there wasn't until I had to tell her to check her notes and that's when she addressed only one more thing even though I was physically and visibly sick. I told her about my cough, sneezing, and she said that she can not address that and rushed out the door. My blood pressure was 166/115 and she did not even mention that once and that was another concern that came to fruition because they just took it at the office. I would like to see about getting further assistance with this issue. I do not recommend her. Nursing staff were trying to be helpful after my visit with her.
