I needed a sofa disposed of and didn't want to bug friends to help disassemble, nor did I want to deal with bulky pickup or finding a friend with a truck, so I decided it was worth hiring someone. I also had them take an old office chair. I did some research on Yelp and contacted about 4-5 companies. Only two got back to me with a straightforward quote, one of which was Unko's. It was a good $60+ less than the other quote I received, so I went with it. I was able to book on very short notice, 1-2 days ahead. So impressed with Cedric and Cu! From first contact they were very responsive, provided a quote using pictures provided. Because they were priced lower than the other quotes I received, I asked them to come and assess the job in person. They only had to increase the quote by a couple hundred after seeing all the junk, which was still lower than the others. It was very easy to schedule the walk through and after I told them they had the job, they squeeze me in that weekend. They helped me figure out which items could be donated (and made an extra trip to the donation center) and were professional, efficient and very accommodating. I love that they are local and really know their stuff! The property they cleaned out was a mess with lots of old beds and heavy old furniture.
