The day after the surgery our dog started hemorrhaging and we took her to the Pet ER for a second life-saving surgery to stop the internal bleeding. We called the clinic the morning after the ER surgery to ask questions of Dr. Jen during business hours and received no phone call back to inquire about the condition of our dog, who had been a patient of Highland since she was a puppy. Emailed the clinic to request to specifically speak with the vet who performed the spay surgery and again, the vet won't call us to discuss the condition or my questions after the trauma of almost losing our dog. Vet tech called one WEEK later to check on our dog and left a voicemail. Disappointed is an understatement. Won't be going back.

It required a call to 911 due to the excessive bleeding and a visit to the emergency room resulting in stitches in both arms. When we reached out to the owner, she showed no concern AT ALL. We returned the puppy the next day and The Hound Lounge immediately posted the puppy for foster again knowing the dog was required to be in quarantine due to what had happened. The owner also called me a liar on Facebook and again, showed zero concern. Bad business.
